Fabulous narrator!!

The story is just as layered as the 1st book in the series. It takes you on a mysterious path along with Antony through the crime and you end up happily on the other side enjoying the humor along the way. This narrator makes this series absolutely the most fun! His interpretation and speech cadence for the characters is so perfect that it can’t be over stated. Thoroughly enjoyed!!

even better as an audio book

The author's lively prose comes to life with Bruce's performance. Anthony comes to the rescue and saves his Aunt Azelea who is suspected of the murder of a WWI flying ace. Christmas cheer is deeply imbibed and you may want a toddy at your elbow when you listen to this engaging and amusing tale. highly recommended

Unadulterated silliness from start to finish! The story is clever, the characters are endearing, and the word play is never stops.

perfection- funny charming likable characters- nice even volume - no occult references- no sexual violence-p j fitzsimmoms is my idea of a perfect writer- no one would want to change one delicious word- Tim bruce is my idea of a perfect narrator- he loves understands and brings out the beauty of this incredibly talented writer instead of seeing the book as a vehicle for showing off- how many accents they can do - steamrolling over the meaning of the language- I am tired of narrators with three speeds audible with no understanding of what they are reading-- yelling really loud as if they think we will be bored by the book and then dropping their voice really low to unintelligible to indicate something is important but of course we dont know what it is because we can't hear it-- and the writing is soooooo good I appreciate that mr bruce serves the writing-other narrators take note- I hope Tim bruce will do the lord Peter whimsy series-
