The book begins with New Year's Day and "The Meaning of Life as Told Me by an Inebriated Science Fiction Writer in New Jersey".
The Feast of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin is represented by "A Random World of Delta Capricorni Aa, Called Scheddi", while "The Parliament of Beasts and Birds" is the story for the Feast of Pentecost. The calendar and the anthology culminate on Christmas Eve with "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus".

Fantastic and Deep
The deep and poignant writing of John C Wright is well carried out by the eloquence of Ken Dickason's narration. These are, on one hand a variety of science fiction tales dealing with time-travel, aliens, weird science and the future of tomarrow, as well as the outright mytical and supernatural. But ther'es more then just a good sci-fi fantasy antho9logy here: there's a depth of emotion, passion human thought running through these tales that can leave no one unmoved.
