I could not stop listening to it
overall a grest book. Anne took me into the story and will make you as tho you are living it with Azreal
I kept hoping he would find the stairway to heaven.

it's a decent book

it's not a bad story, I just think that it's a little bit slow, and there's nothing really new or interesting about it. But then in the time it was written, it may have been a lot more new and interesting.

Lacking audio quality

Seemed like first part of reading was fine but lacking and maybe second half of the whole thing just lost quality and sounded like a recording of a tape playing I guess. Not what I’m used to in my audible acquisitions and experiences.

Monotone performance

Hard to tell if the story is good as the reader is so monotonous in his delivery I was fighting to pay attention to it.

Wonderful Story

Such a great story. It evokes all kinds of emotions and in the end teaches us that love is the most important thing in life

Despite the rough audio mix it's a compelling story. Azriel's tale keeps you engaged.

This was a really good read. The characters were great and the story is hard to put down. Fast paced, a real page Turner.

my absolute favorite anne rice story. narration was phenomenal. loved it! this is a book i can listen to or read over and over again.

Excellent reading of this tale!

This was an excellent reading. Michael Prichards voice is so soothing. It was narrated slowly but this gives the listeners more time to really absorb the story. Considering the weight of the tale, it's utterly appropriate. Would listen to this again.
