Truly a pleasure!
This book was touching, thoughtful and funny! These stories and poems flow in tone and mood at a pace that never allowed me to be bored. The Doris Day bit was so much fun. I loved the book.

Adventure abounds!
I was smitten with the travel tales and adventures! I especially loved the sweet couple in their camper van, wistful hopes for my own future, and the tale of visiting Chicago. I felt like I was there, traveling with the storyteller and witnessing such revelry!

Get ready for an emotional rollercoaster with "The Bluebirds of Black Lake"! A.C. Calloway's writing is a work of art, expertly weaving together heart-wrenching emotions with beautifully crafted words. This book is a poetic masterpiece that draws you in from the first page and holds you tight until the end. Don't miss out on this moving and highly recommended read that will leave you feeling both saddened and uplifted.
These stories are just begging for a limited series adaptation! I can't help but imagine how much more depth and richness could be added to these already incredible tales. A limited series would be the perfect platform to bring these characters to life and give them the screen time they deserve. Amazon Studios, are you listening?
