Better

I liked the Black Prism but the narrator was absolutely atrocious. The characters all sounded like, A the same person, B a total monotone, or C, whiny little idiots. There was nearly no differentiation between male and female characters and it was almost impossible to listen, to the point where I couldn't finish and went and bought the hard copy because I liked the story. The Blinding Knife, is as good, I think, as the Black Prism, and the narrator is astronomically better. Really a joy to listen to. I would definitely recommend this.

Hands Down My Favorite Series!

Loved this book series! Pulled me right in! Could not stop until I finished the entire series!

Needs stronger women

Creates iconic admirable formidable female character; has her captured and beaten twice. male characters are mostly complex. Women serve or are their to service men. Book just needed feminist lens and could have been that much better. Book ends in battle like previous book. Series not, this far, not as good as Way of Shadows series.

Fantastic!!!

Weeks has done it again! I wasn't too sure after the Black Prism if I would read book 2 but I'm glad I did. Simon Vance made all the difference bring a much more vibrant reading performance to the novel. Truly top notch voice acting. Weeks character development, swashbuckling action, mixed with what seems to be an ever sweeping story is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Can't wait for the next one and hope it is not the last!

Where does The Blinding Knife rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is definitely some of Mr. Weeks best work. It is even better than the preceding book. The development is more fluent. Also, it will catch you off gaurd and you might find yourself laughing in public. Some of the banter in the dialogue is very enjoyable.

Absolutely loved it just as good as the first two, can't wait to start the next one.

Combinatorial and Colorful

Masterful performance and the story moved well without becoming dry and thoughtless. I found this read relaxing.

Incredible story and an extraordinary author. I will be reading Brent Weeks books for the rest of my life, including re-reading The Night Angel Trilogy and the Lightbringer Saga over and over.
