Cute but predictable

This book was exactly what you'd expect. You can predict what's going to happen long before it does. Still, that's why we choose these lighter stories, right? They give you an escape, a feel-good moment. The story is cute, and I love books set around baking and cooking, small town atmosphere, etc. Unfortunately for me the narrator just ruined it. She sounds like every sing-song-y monorail driver or attraction narrator at a Disney park. It really distracted me.

Fun and easy listening

These books were fun and I enjoyed them. Fun romance, but not too raunchy. If you’re looking for something fun for fall, this is it.
