Sweet Story!

This is a uplifting story with women positive characters! The narration is marvelous! A wonderful holiday treat from the charming Whitsborough Bay collection!

Narrator Not For Me

The narrator sounds too old for the character, and she’s just too “in your face” for me. Narrators can either make or break a book. This one broke it for me.

Excellent Feel Good Book

Another great book by Jessica Redland. In this book, Ms. Redland added some great story twists, which made the book all the better. I really enjoyed these books set in a seaside setting with people who struggle just like all the rest of us. Its nice to have the books with struggles and lost loves that always end the way we wish our lives would end....with a HEA ending. The only thing that would have made this even better would been for Ms. Redland to have included more of the former business owners in the story. I missed them! I would love to move on to the next book and the wonderful town she's created, but I've finished all of them. :) for now!!!! You can't go wrong if you are looking for an enjoyable book.

Overall good

I appreciate the lack of or minimal cussing in her books. Also, the story and character development. Always appreciate a happy ending to the story too.

What a fun read!

This story was so lovely! I enjoyed the whole plot and the twist towards the end, which I wasn’t expecting. I found myself wanting to hear more. I did feel the narrator was often very enthusiastic announcing the chapters, but it made the book a fun read. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series because I have fallen in love with the characters and Whitsborough Bay!

Great Story

I liked the story, and even the narrator. I have gotten use to her and her style. The only thing I did not like was the overly graphic descriptions of the sexual interactions of Ricky & BJ. It was not necessary, as we know Ricky is a worm! The audience knows he is a raw, rude and awful person! Let the audience form their own interpretation of the interludes. Otherwise I liked the story, and outcome!

Loved the story but the narration didn't match

I like the story but the characters are supposed to be in their late twenties/early thirties and the narrators voice just doesn't quite match this story....
