Fantastic from the start

You know how some stories take a while to develop the characters? Even though backstory is needed it can be boring. Not with this writer! And the talent from the narrator wow just wow! Looking forward to the series and excited there are several books! Love the characters, love the narrator, love his style of writing!

The action doesn't stop

This is a very enjoyable listen. As promised, the action never stops. The main character, Eden, is both unique and compelling. The narrator did an excellent job. The only criticism I have is that if I set a metronome to the story, it would have ticked consistently throughout, even through the many action sequences. Variability would be an improvement to the action sequences. Not sure if this is a narrator issue or the writing. Regardless, I have ordered the next book in this series. Like to see what Eden gets herself into next.

Entertaining

The book was very entertaining. Fun that there is some potential truth and the story behind it.

Sitting on the edge of your seat fantastic!

What a great story from beginning to end! I hated when I had to stop listening. The narrator was great! I can’t wait to read the next Eden Black book.

Disappointing

A Disappointing Read
This book left me feeling disappointed due to its overwhelming focus on action sequences, including gunplay and motor chases, at the expense of deeper intrigue and archaeological exploration. As someone who enjoys a blend of historical intrigue and suspense, I found that the book fell short of my expectations.
If you are a reader who appreciates high-octane adventures and relentless action, this book might appeal to you. However, for those like myself who anticipated a richer narrative filled with historical discoveries and intellectual challenges, this book may not meet your expectations.
While the fast-paced scenes may captivate some, the lack of substantial storyline and engaging archaeological content made it a less satisfying read for me.
