Publisher's summary

Have you ever loathed a person so intensely the sight of them made you contemplate homicide?

First day of college, everyone is settling into their rooms, and in walks Jeff Woods—the blond bastard. He’s arrogant, smart and an elite swimmer. Worst of all, everyone loves him. Only, he’s also insufferable, flirty, and a sex god. He pushes every button I never knew I had—all with an air of indifference—like he doesn’t know the effect it has on me.

Did I mention he’s the hottest guy I’ve ever laid eyes on? I’m just some closeted red-neck from the south who’s more comfortable on a horse and in a pair of boots than trying to figure life at one of the most elite universities in the world.

There’s no way a guy like him would ever look at me twice.

Hate is the only equation.

The Animosity Equation is a standalone enemies-to-lovers roommates romance, with forced proximity, a wild ride of teasing lust, and so much more.

Great Listen!

So happy to be back in the Love Equations world. And with an Enemies to Lovers story (my absolute favorite trope!) Loved all of the build up between Mason & Jeff. So very hot. And so misunderstood. But once they made their intentions and pasts clear to each other, nothing could stand in their way. Also, loved getting spend more time with Harden & Vance (from Friendship Equestion) as well. Excellent narration by Alexander Amado.

Great book, wish it was longer

So glad Woods got his own book and his own happy ending. The narration was fantastic of course.

Love JR Gray

I read this story the day it was released on KU. I felt like I was experiencing the story for the first time all over again because I didn't remember too many details. You know how you read/listen to over 300 books they start to blur?
This story was a great duet to the first book. And if you haven't listened to The Friendship Equation then you must run and listen it's soo good.
I wasn't sure how I felt about Jeff from book 1 he was kinda an ass, but after getting to know his character and everything he's been through, I just completely feel for his character.
Mason ugh! I loved him from the start. His character growth from being a closeted man to being openly out was something so special. His family's acceptance just made me want to hug his whole family. The character that made me laugh out loud was Mason's grandma. She was hilarious.
This narrator is truly one of the best up-and-coming book narrators. I hope more authors use him.

Yes, it is another great story!

This is the second book in the series and the writing and story held up to the awesomeness of the first. I can’t wait to listen to the third.

I am really enjoy the performance by Alexander Amado. He is a new narrator for me and he is doing a great job.

Respectable 2nd book in this series

I really enjoyed The Friendship Equation, the tension crackling between Vance and Harden was off the charts from start to finish! Alexander is a great performer and I hope we see him more often. This being said, The Animosity Equation started out great, but it kind of ended with a whimper. It is a tragedy because there was so much potential but it feels as if maybe there were missed opportunities. Anywho, it won't prevent me from reading the next in the series - The Forbidden Equation. One of the reviews said it was the best out of all 3 and I hope so! but from the blurb it seems a bit unrealistic - a May/December romance with the Vice President of the US? 🤔 okay......we will see I guess.

3 Stars - I won't listen again
