Holden Grigori is lost on an alien world, and his memories are just as lost. All he knows is a beautiful woman says she's his wife, she loves him, and he'd do anything for her.

Security specialist Victoria Greene's mission is to find the heroic pilot of a downed spaceship and keep him safe while he recovers in a human hospital in the Halloween-themed town of Nocturne Falls, Georgia. Part of her ongoing mission is, as always, to keep the humans from realizing that aliens walk among them, hiding in plain sight.

Pretending to be Holden's wife is far from a hardship. Falling in love with him is even easier. But what will happen when he gets his memories back and realizes that to him she is...no one?

Book review

I'm sure Kirsten liked the use of the name, Dr. Painter, in the story as much as I did.

Good, but...

Another good story, but the narrator is lazy!
He has voices he designates to certain characters (male lead, female lead, etc) & not based on the actual characters name.
The main characters voice is always the same. Each book focuses on a new main character. And then the previous MC is now a side character.
For example: the main character sounds normal in one book, but when they are introduced as a side character in the very next book they have an accent &:the new MC now has the normal voice of the previous male MC.
It makes the transition between books confusing.
It seems like the narrator doesn't have range. Or maybe he can't recall the voice he designated to a specific person. Either way, it's annoying! Consistency is good, especially when you have a series that extends dozens of books.
I get when you have 40+ books it can get tedious. But we're only a few books in so far & the narrator just can't keep up...

So sweet!

I’m starting to love Alien Arkansas as much as Nocturne Falls! I loved the two romances and the ending! It helps that the narrator is a very familiar voice too! Looking forward to my next listen.
