Storyline

a truly exceptional book! A well-rounded storyline that incorporates creativity and values surrounding parenthood can resonate deeply with readers. Such books often leave a lasting impression, especially when they explore themes of love, sacrifice, and growth within familial relationships.

Top 5 fiction book!!

Honestly I think pbd is a genius, I listened to it bc I think he’s a cool entrepreneur, but this is definitely a top 5 fiction book for me. The story was awesome and there was still value and lessons to be derived from it. Highly recommend

This book is fantastic! The first fiction book I have read (listened) to in years! I love the characters and I’m looking forward to a series! Movie or tv quality!

Outstanding

Patrick Bet David’s first foray into the fiction world is, in my opinion, a huge success! His imagination is bold and fresh. I love the way that he intertwined his history into our history.  I hope we don’t have to wait another 10 years for his next book.

Really enjoying this story.

I like the character development and the way in which new characters are introduced. This story is interesting given today's occurrences and Patrick Bet-David is all over those. Still have a couple of chapters to go and given that I am not yet sure of the ending I do hope it is book one of a series to come.

Learn from your mistakes

Fantastic story with many hidden morals. Very enjoyable with exciting moments and moments that make you think with surprises.

Decent book

Decent Book, seems to combine previous stories and make an original twist. Definitely leave an opening for future stories.

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! It is a book that you can't put down as it progresses!

This book is fantastic! It has several plots that are woven together - real time with flash backs. My one complaint is that when listening as an audio book, it can be difficult to tell when it goes from the "Academy" plot and flashes back to Asher's historical family plot with his mother and father. A simple pause would make this easier to decifer.
This is not a critique on the book, rather on the audio book.

My review is that THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! I genuinely enjoyed this book more than any other fiction that I have read in years! It is masterfully done, and I would HIGHLY recommend it. 4.8/5 stars (take off 0.2 stars for the beginning, otherwise

My only critique of the book is that the first 1/4 of the book is a little slow. The first part is still well written, but the rest is in my opinion so much more exciting!

Once you get through the first part, it picks up very fast! Listening to Margert Thacher, Karl Marx, Tupac, Einstein, Marylin Monroe, and even having to hear from a despot like Hitler... what a fascinating book! I genuinely enjoyed this book more than any other fiction that I have read in years! It is masterfully done, and I would HIGHLY recommend it!!!

Stellar Storytelling

Now I know why the PBD team is so amped about their new space and making it into the Palm Beach Movie Mecca. This is just the beginning of Asher as protagonist in a long line of fiction that rivals any fiction of today in hopes of a movie one day. The amount of detail is insurmountable to any story and gives inspiration to us all to go and get our dreams. I found this listen extremely relatable as I am the son of a foreign immigrant. Again thanks so much for representing all of us!
