Publisher's Summary

The 21-Day Happiness Challenge, the fifth book in the 21-Day Challenge series!

Are you tired of that lurking sense of depression? Tired of waiting around for happiness to find you?

Are you ready to learn how to love your life? Ready to take action to become a happier person?

True happiness is an inside job. Look at a happy person's life, and you don't see any magic or unicorns. There's nothing in them that isn't also in you. Though external realities can certainly play a role, happiness doesn't spring from what you have, what happens to you, the situation you are in, where you are, or anything else. In fact if it were easy to be happy, this book would be a very short one!

Happiness doesn't have much to do with money, achievement, or possessions because plenty of people have all three and are still not happy. In this guide we'll approach happiness not as something you have but as something you actively do each and every day.

The 21-Day Happiness Challenge will help you:

  • Understand and apply the key principles of living a happy life in an easy, step-by-step way
  • Love and accept yourself just the way you are now
  • Let go of things, thoughts, behaviors, and people that do not serve you anymore
  • Realize that "huffy fluffy" concepts such as forgiveness, gratitude, and mindfulness are actually extremely powerful
  • Develop a daily routine that significantly boosts your happiness
  • And much more!

Learn how to love your life and become a happier person today. Are you ready to take the challenge?

Increase your happiness: useful and actionable

What did you like best about this story?

Rather than treating happiness as the derivative of external realities, this book encourages you to accept that happiness is something you can actively work on. And that’s exactly what this 21-day challenge is about. Each day you get a new assignment, exercise or things to think about. This way, you gradually work towards the goal of increasing your level of happiness in life.

Any additional comments?

I’ve read a few books already from the 21-day series and I love how they are practical and full of actionable advice. This one is no different. You get useful tips on things like practicing kindness and reflection, inviting stillness in your life, and challenging negative thoughts and beliefs. I also enjoyed the section on how brain chemicals affect certain emotional states and how you can use that to your advantage.

This worked :)

I did this challenge along with the 21-Day Self-Love Challenge from the same series and, although I feel that the Self Love Challenge had a bigger impact on me, I valued the advise given in this book a lot. I never realized that it was a choice, not to be happy, but to do little things of which you know will lift your spirit. I also think that focussing on Happiness for 3 weeks straight has a significant impact on what you focus on an attract in your day-to-day life (Law of Attraction idea), I had 2 wonderful things happen to me in the last week of the Challenge that were beyond coincidence. Great series!

Powerful in its simplicity

Would you listen to The 21-Day Happiness Challenge, Volume 5 again? Why?

At first, I wanted to bash the book for having seemingly obvious habits that one must adopt to be happy but after I took my time listening to it and doing the exercises that resonated with me, I realized that the whole is much greater than the sum of its parts, I love it! Powerful in its simplicity.

five stars!

This book was recommended to me by a friend. I found it easy to listen to and entertaining. The book is not too long so you should be able to get through it quickly - or take your time with each chapter to get the most out of the author's advice. Listen to a chapter and let it marinate in your mind before moving on. I liked Francie Wyck's style of narration.

worth a read

When reading these type of books, I always feel like you had to do what works for you. If you can find a small change that will better your life then it was worth it. All the tips are not going to work for everyone and it's too overwhelming to try and implement all of them. I found a few things that worked for me and make it worth the read.

unique approach to Happiness

The quirkiness of this 3-week plan for a focus on happiness distinguishes it from other self-help books. It allows for a plan that can be modified to fit any individual.

good advice

I've read a lot of books on the topic and this is by far the most inclusive and to the point happiness book out there. Each chapter gave me nuggets of information and ideas that I have already started incorporating into my everyday life. The narration by Francie Wyck was pleasant to listen to.
