Loved everything about this one

I love my visits to Cloverleigh Farm and I have to say Tempt is one of my favourite reads in the series. This is Milie MacAllister and Zack Barrett’s journey and boy do they have a captivating tale to tell.
Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers were perfect with their narration. They all the highs, all the giggles as well as the lows and they were easy to listen to.
Millie is the wedding planner for Cloverleigh Farm and she is wrapped up planning her ex Mason and his new fiancé Lori’s wedding and as you can imagine that brings a lot of additional pressure and anxiety so when her sister Winnie challenges her to go down to the bar and flirt with a hot stranger she jumps at the chance. Imagine her surprise when the hot stranger turns out to be the man who rescued her from a married creep flirting with her when they were stranded at an airport in NYC…….
What follows is an entertaining and emotional journey as Zack and Millie fight the attraction they both feel, he thinks he is too old and not capable of love and she believes all her ex’s end up getting married to the next girl who walks into their life’s. So can this pair get past their insecurities and see what’s right in front of their nose, will they take a chance for themselves and stop worrying what others think…..one click to find that out.
This book has it all, it made me smile, it made me swoon, I giggled and at times I wanted to bang Zack and Millie’s heads together but what shone through was love and that’s what made this be written story very special. Love the second generation stories from Cloverleigh Farm and I’m excited for what’s next and the audible of Tempt.

This is my second favorite of the new generation series. Ignite will still be number 1! I love how Mel was able to add her own spin on a class “ex boyfriends dad” Perfect spicy and small town feels.

Love Millie and Zach!

Oh the irony of Millie's ONS stand having a connection to her not so distant past. She sure did kiss a lot of frogs before she found Zach. She needed someone like Zach to balance out her independence. Does that make sense? He was older, mature, and made her feel wild and free. There were no obligations or deadlines to meet when they were together. The forbidden aspect may have lent itself to that. Millie and Zach had chemistry, but they were also perfect for each other. Keeping their relationship a secret I could have done without, but I understood why for Zach's sake. In the end, the author put it best, "Sometimes you just have to believe everything happens for a reason, and trust in the people you love to protect and guide you." Sigh..

Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers...chef's kiss... on the perfect pairing to voice Zach and Millie.

Inferno of heat in here!

I think Tempt might actually be my favorite Melanie Harlow book ever. She went there with Zach. He was so much. He was an older man. A former Navy Seal (yum-o). Plus, he works private security and gets to travel. Not to mention, he’s dominating, strong and oh so confident. Millie is a perfect match for him. Can I add that I love that Harlow gives us real plus size women. We get women that have more than a handful. Women with curves for days. I appreciate that as a plus size woman myself. Millie is also a strong and confident woman. However, she doesn’t mind giving some of the power over to Zach behind closed doors. These two are an inferno together!

Then we learn WHO Zach is and everything kind of falls apart. Millie and Zach are magnets though. They cannot stay away. The title, Tempt, was perfect because these two have a high tension for tempting the other. They can’t fight it no matter how hard they try. What happens when the cat is out of the bag and everyone knows their secrets? Read or listen to find out! You won’t be disappointed! The narration by Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers was out of this world! The narration perfectly matched the story. York embodied this strong, alpha male flawlessly. Rivers was perfect at walking the life for Millie. She was strong but also didn’t mind submitting to her partner.

What a great finale to the Cloverleigh series!

I have loved the Cloverleigh Farms series so much and Tempt was a great finale to the series! I adored Millie and Zach. Age gap is not usually my thing, but Tempt totally changed that for me. I was excited to see that Millie was a plus-sized main character- it's always refreshing to read about someone so real and close to the average size of the American woman these days. Tempt had emotion, sweetness, and so much steam! Narrators Sebastian York and Lucy Rivers gave great performances. I listened at 1.3X, which is my typical speed, and I found the audio to be perfectly conversational for me at that speed.

A Surprise from Melanie Harlow

Tempt was a pleasant surprise! I loved the romance and how hero and heroine navigated the challenges they faced. Sebastian York made the book! 4.5 stars

Tempt is an emotional, steamy, and heartfelt read that I absolutely LOVED! Words cannot express how much I loved Millie and Zach. From the first meeting to the epic conclusion, they drew me into this forbidden, age-gap romance.

When Millie and Zach met in a hotel bar and give into the chemistry between them, they never expect to meet again even though neither one has been able to stop thinking about the other. But what happens when you find out that your one-night stand is the long-lost dad of your ex-boyfriend? It makes it a little bit awkward and when you can’t stay away from each other, it makes a difficult situation even more problematic.

Millie is a goddess. She’s strong, independent and determined to help woman of all sizes feel comfortable in their bodies. I loved her feistiness and spirit as much as Zach did. Zach is a bit broken and has to resolve a few issues before he can truly be the man that Millie needs. I loved how he couldn’t stay away from Millie.

The chemistry and longing between these two was palpable and I loved their late night conversations. They truly understood and supported one another even though they knew their situation was forbidden. I loved watching their relationship bloom and grow and felt every emotion along with them.

I also listened to the audio of this title and it was fabulous. Sebastian York's deep voice is perfection as Zach. I couldn't get enough of his chapters. Lucy Rivers was also great narrating Millie. They both immersed themselves in their characters and made you feel all the emotions.

Full of family, heart, angst, and so much emotion, Tempt is one of my new favorites of Melanie Harlow. You will be rooting for Millie and Zach to navigate their difficult situation and find their HEA.

Everything I hoped it would be!

Let’s get right to the good stuff, shall we?
I listened to the audio format for this book and can I just say that Sebastian York’s voice is like a smooth glass of whiskey—it has a bit of bite and a nice slow burn as it soaks into your soul. *SWOON*

Ok, ok. Let’s talk plot. This book has a total small town romance vibe that centers on Millie —a wedding planner who is currently in the midst of orchestrating her ex-boyfriend’s wedding. It’s slightly awkward, but there are no issues until she realizes that she may have unknowingly had a one-night stand with his recently discovered biological dad a few days ago. 😬

That’s a whole lotta plot in one sentence, lol.

Anyhow, while it may seem complicated the story itself flows beautifully between our two main characters. Their chemistry is palpable, the dirty talk is SINFULLY delicious, and the love that blooms between them is soft yet enduring. I loved every bit of it!

As for the audio, both narrators are great at providing unique voices to the characters—it was very easy to follow along with dialogue. I listened to this at 2.2x speed and had no issues keeping up!

Smacking hot good time

I love Zach and Milly. They were such a fun, hot couple right from the start. They were meant to be! I honestly wasn't sure towards the end how and if they were going to work it all out, but I'm sure happy they did. The epilogue was great, and the narration was too.

Very Good

This is a very good addition to the series. Not spicy hot, but not everyone wants that. 😊 I loved the characters and the story progression- the age gap romance is pretty great!
