Witches continues the story of Raine and Torin. This story's timeline overlaps with Cora's in Souls.

Her goal? Total destruction of the entire Norn race. Raine's only hope of salvation is Torin, but how much will he sacrifice to save her?

Would you consider the audio edition of Witches to be better than the print version?

No - but let me clarify. I have never enjoyed an audio version over the print version because to me the print version allows for my imagination to soar much more so than the audio version. But this audio version is one of the best I have listened to.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Raine - the way she adapts to all the new things going on in her life. Keeping herself true to what she was before - love Raine!

What does Stephanie Terry bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I feel Stephanie brought on a lot of heart. They way she reads certain passages give a clearer understanding of the frustrations and angst the characters feel in the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!! I just didn't want it to stop - actually listened to it twice it was so good!

Amazing author and an amazing narrator!

another wonderful book by Ednah walters!

this was my favorite book so far. I love how the last book souls and this book witches really go together. you are getting two different perspectives from the same time period, super cool idea. the narrator Stephanie Terry was brilliant as well. I did not want to stop listening to this book. even my boyfriend enjoyed it. I cannot wait until the next book. ednah walters knows how to keep us on our toes!

Absolutely the best series I have ever read, EDNAH WALTERS you're the greatest writer.

I loved this series and would love to read another very soon!! Runes, immortals, and witches, such great fun!

I think the áudiobook allows the listener to experience the story more actively because the person doing the narration seeks to convey the emotions of each character.

I liked Raine. She did what she though was right.

Amazing book!

I've read many books written by Ednah Walters and all other books in this series and I really love how well developed the characters are. With each book they seem to be getting more complex and more intriguing while the style is also getting even more polished and the text even more elaborate than before.

I loved how the story evolves and how Raine and Torin and their friends get closer. As a reader you can feel how they start to trust eachother and learn to rely on the others.
The characters are authentic and convincing, they make mistakes and learn from them, and they learn to face the demons of their past.

Witches is really great, I loved everything about it and couldn't put it down, I was hooked right from the first page on and it still is my favorite book in this series!

Soooo....it really was a little bit of a risk to listen to the audiobook of course because the best book isn't that good anymore if the narrator doesn't fit but... that's definitely not a problem here! I love the narrator and the way she reads the story. It is very expressive and read with feeling without ever getting too sentimental or overdoing it and I also really like her voice and enjoy listening to it. Stephanie Terry is a great choice and I look forward to listening to the other books of the series as well!

absolutely love how this book gave you a different point of the events that happened in souls. Ednah Walters has become one of my favorite authors. I am anxious to see what happens to Eirik.

Fresh story series

I found this series to be a fresh YA series. While it stays pretty true to the overall genre, the components aligned to Odin and his pantheon into an alternative universe was compelling and kept my interest. I enjoy the overlap of characters and focus on them for more than just one book like so many do. I ran through all of the books available and am looking forward to upcoming installments.

Witches takes place during Souls but it's through Raines story. You still get the main parts of Souls but you get more of Raine in this. And there are AMAZING moments that you want to read. Ednah makes her fans fall even more in love with her characters of the Runes series.
