I loved this book and their story. Michelle Heard has become one of my favorite authors as well. Loved this story and even found myself laughing out loud at times. Demitri & Ariana fight through many obstacles to find that love is worth fighting for!! Definitely worth a credit!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I've read this series out of order, but I loved Ariana and Demitri’s story just as much as books one and five. The FMC, Ariana, lived a normal life before having a target on her back. The MMC, Demitri, becomes her protector. He took such good care of her! I could've done without the third act break up, but the forced proximity made up for this. I highly recommend Audible because the narration was on point!

Commitment to story

Liked the MC male voice with accent. Female voice sounded average an almost whine. I sit and listen for long periods of time she was good I just think she could have done better. Just my whine opinion

If a great story, but……

Love the story loved Demetri however in book 2 the lead FMC pissed me off a bit so I skipped book 3 just to get to book 4 and be even more pissed. This story had so much potential to be five stars if the FMC wasnt so bitchy and dumb it was unnerving. Again, the plot and the story itself was amazing. I just did not enjoy the development of the female character. It was trash. Oh my main highlights of the book was being able to see the dynamic of Alexi and Demetri’s relationship. I almost wish this was a MM that would’ve been sooooooooooooooooooo 🥵 😮‍💨🤤🌶️🌶️

I can’t wait to rebook five only because of Alexi! I need to know more about him and further development of his friendship with Demetri
