Publisher's summary

From USA Today best-selling author Jack Mars, author of the critically acclaimed Luke Stone and Agent Zero series (with over 5,000 five-star reviews), comes an explosive new action-packed espionage series that takes listeners on a wild ride across Europe, America, and the world.

A CIA agent, posing as an archeologist in Pakistan, is arrested, and world security hinges on what he knows—and what he found. Jacob Snow, elite soldier-turned-CIA agent, with his mysterious archeologist partner, must race against time to find and free him before it’s too late.

But at every turn the mystery deepens—and time is running out.

An action thriller with heart-pounding suspense and unforeseen twists, Target Five is the fifth novel in an exhilarating new series by a best-selling author that will make you fall in love with a brand new action hero—and keep you listening late into the night. Perfect for fans of Dan Brown, Daniel Silva, and Jack Carr.

Novella not novel

Enjoy the short story yet there are a lot of questions unanswered. Most importantly to me is that other authors in this same realm write books that last for 10+ hours. We pay double the price here. Too be honest I am unlikely to listen to the next 5 hour novel. Why should I waste my money

Thought it was rather sophomoric.

Not the JCarr I’m used to reading/hearing. Story was predictable. Main characters just didn’t sound credible. Is this series targeting a younger set of readers?
Just a little disappointed for one of my favorite writers.
