Publisher's summary

Taming 7 is an epic and unforgettable love story in the international bestselling and TikTok-phenomenon The Boys of Tommen series, from Chloe Walsh.

She's the quintessential sunshine girl. He's the lovable class clown. But storm clouds are rolling in, and this Tommen boy is about to get serious.

Tommen's cheekiest lad, Gerard 'Gibsie' Gibson, has always been a comedian, but most people don't see what lurks beneath the surface. He is haunted by events of the past and he uses humor to cope, hiding his true self from the world.

Claire Biggs, the epitome of sunshine, has always loved Gibsie, her brother's friend and her favorite neighbor. She has always seen a side to him that no one else seems to notice. She becomes determined to tame her wild-at-heart childhood best friend.

When lines are crossed, it becomes unclear whether Gibsie and Claire's friendship will survive. Will it blossom into something more, or will they lose themselves in the wild?

Following characters that audiences have grown to adore, Taming 7 will only expand your love for the Boys of Tommen universe.

The story of the boy who made me fall in love with him the very first time he appeared in the first book.

Gibsie is my favourite character in this series. I just can't help it, I love him. I knew his sunny disposition hid a very dark past. Half way through the book, I had this feeling that even though I enjoyed it, not so much was happening. Then, when the big reveal came, I understood it was intentional. I've lived in Gibsie's reality where his traumatic past doesn't come to light on the daily, isn't discussed with anyone and is generally one big secret. The when it was finally revealed my heart bled so much. With Shan and Joey it was obvious: an abusive father and an unreliable mother. Here, the family was perfect on the surface, the money was there and so was love. So the trauma wasn't an ongoing abuse, but a past not dealt with.

I know that Claire and Gibsie get just one book, but I don't consider this story to be finished. I hope we'll get Lizzie's story soon to get the much deserved closer on her sister's suicide.

I waited for this one and was not disappointed!

I love this book series, i love the accents of the Narrators and i love the real to life situations and how they find a way. The emotions are so strong and the story’s are long how i like them. I also love learning how different people from different areas of the world talk or act differently and different names for some stuff i find very fascinating. I hope she writes a book for Lizzy and Hue. I also love that it’s been the same narrator for each book of this series and that you get your keep up with the characters you loved from the previous books as well.

I don’t feel this was as spicy as Joey’s books but given all that you discover in this book it makes a lot of sense to be tamer.

I was so surprised with the twists in this book. I was completely not expecting it at all! I love how it turned out. However I wonder if there isn’t another book after this because it kinda left all their friends in a hang up in the end.. so makes me feel like there could be more to come. ( I hope so i really have loved this series so much) Joey’s books have been my favorite of the series but
Really all of them are great in this series.

Off to the next great book 📖

I have loved Gibs and Claire since the Binding 13 and they did not disappoint. I loved the banter and that unconditional love.

I was expecting a little more since this is the single book for Gibs and Claire and the previous books were duets. But I also read that the last book will have all of the characters pov and I imagine that Lizzie's book will include some of the drama.
