Oh I loved this story and narration was perfect!

♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This was a wonderful book by ALY Martinez- the story was compelling, lots of angsts and you really could feel the love between the H/h, and wanted to see them reunite after tragic events tore them apart! Excellent casting of Jason Clarke Andi Arndt for narrating this unforgettable love story. I loved it. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really have to sit and think about this one. There was a lot of emotions and a lot of heavy topics here.
The flashback scenes to their childhood were sweet and there was a lot of attention there to build that solid foundation of their relationship. I think this was important, as Ramsey was only 17 when he went to prison, there wasn't a lot of time to build it.
On the night they lost their virginity, Thea was then raped by someone she knew. Ramsey made a plea deal at 12 years later was out on parole.
Now a man, who grew up locked up in prison, Ramsey must learn to adjust to the world, to his feelings. His sister Nora and Thea have become sisters in the 12 years he was away, and they want their family back.
There was a LOT - and I mean a LOT of sad times in this book. The narration of Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke did a fantastic job. It was heavy and at times a hard listen.
With two hours left, the tide turns on this story. There are 'things' that happen. That's all I will say. Your outlook on much of the story changes somewhat.
It was a good story, but definitely you need to be in the mindset for it.

I am so glad to have found author, I enjoyed this combination of friends to lovers and childhood sweethearts. This story griped at all the string for the tragedy that separated this couple and the needed redemption of what I would say a secondary character was a must.

I'd say it was tearjerker all thru out but the HEA made it worth without spoling the story it all started with a major plot twist and a confirmation of the Huge heart the Hero has.

There were times when the story was really cute and other times really emotional. It was a good book and It made me want to read more from this author

Loved it Although!

loved the story so much, beautiful! amazingly narrarated! just loved it all! their love for each other. my only issue was with Thea! she was very selfish at times! she had a hard time seeing things from anyone else's side. the whole whoa is me was getting on my nerves. But when she calmed down it was much better!

Heartbreakingly intense storytelling!

Ramsay and Thea’s heartbreaking and heartwarming story is an emotional tale that kept me glued to my Kindle with tears in my eyes and hope in my heart. I won’t go into detail because Aly’s books are better when you don’t know what’s coming but I suffered and ultimately rejoiced over the battle of good vs. evil as her characters dealt with life blows at every turn. This story will break your heart a dozen times over before mending it with hope and love and I highly recommend it. The story was expertly narrated by Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke whose nuanced performances embodied the heartache, love, and healing of their sympathetic and unforgettable characters.

One of the better storylines I've listened to in awhile!

I loved the storyline and the narrators did an amazing job. Part of me wants there to be part 2!

Beautiful story

A blind pic because I love the narrators. So much more than expected. A new author for me. Will look for more from her. I highly recommend.
