The reader did a fantastic job with character voicing. Really fun to listen to. This is one of the more fun Ngaio Marsh listens.

These two make a perfect pair. I am afraid to figure out how many books I haven't listened to. It will be a sad day when I come to the end of the list! If you like nonviolent detective novels, you cannot do any better!

I love this author and narrator.

Not one of her best: unbelievable characters, highly improbably plot, poor dialogue, jumpy pacing. Surprisingly poor offering by NM.

STRANGE AND FORCED

This one has the least retell value because only one person could have done it. Only a self-absorbed man’s insistence on having things his own way slows down the denouement.
The end of ch 6 for some reason has the start of ch 1 attached.

Not the most logical Marsh tale

Another great Ngaio Marsh! She has done it again. Another wonderful mystery to tickle our brains. Try this one and you will really like it. It is twisty and windy. Good as usual.
