surviving divorce can't be cured by a short book, however the author does give some great pointers to be pondered and studied on. He did address Christian Sex after divorce briefly unlile other titles of the same subject.

Good but church preachy

Good intuitive information. But strong linkage to biblical messages a turnoff for the not so inclined

Very helpful

This book was a good overview on the journey after divorce. Although other books may go into more detail, at the time of my divorce I just needed something concise and straightforward. This was a perfect fit. I will listen to this audiobook multiple times and recommend it to anyone else going through this heartbreaking period of life.

This covers much of the surface but doesn't go into much depth. Much was inspired by yhr author's own experience.

Opened my eyes

I've always thought self help books were rather pretentious. That was, until this very thing happened to me and I found myself not knowing where to go or what to do. As I was listening to this, I had to stop and gather myself because it was like he was writing from my life word for word with the exception of having kids. I'm even having my soon to be ex-wife read it so that we can maybe better understand each other, and though I don't think it'll help us get back together, I do think it will open up the understanding for me and for her.

Book is good, Podcast is better

I’d highly recommend supporting this author and listening to this book AND his podcast. But I feel like the same content was much more energetic, digestible, and complete in podcast form. No regret on the audio book... great summary and I really wanted to support the author.

Also... I agree with past reviews, the book is more intensely Christian and faith-based. Could be a plus/minus depending on the person.

Excellent Self-Help Book

I like how the author brought his Christian views into delivering his messages. Marriage is the most difficult job and I never felt we had any deal breakers but he obviously felt differently. Overall I liked the book.

Just one story

Although well intentioned, it seems like it’s coming from just one experience, his own. An interesting perspective, but the “n” is one.
