Alone and unafraid. Sometimes you prevent war by hunting down your enemies.

Integrated with a superdreadnought, the artificial intelligence known as Reynolds takes his ship across the universe in search of the elusive Kurtherians. He comes to a revelation. He’s better in the company of living creatures.

He needs a crew. He needs information. And he needs to continue his search and destroy mission.

Needing a crew and getting a crew are two completely different things. Reynolds is out of his element as he tries to reach out and make friends. Through it all, he has his vessel, the superdreadnought, the most powerful warship in the galaxy.

Or so he believes.

This is just a different type of SI Fy book because it uses an A.I. that plays multi characters. It talks to itself while bring into the book a crew from on earth areas. There is humor because of the talking back and forth. There are lots of battles and sometimes the A.I.'s view seems to be just wipe out the enemy or sometimes save one. Give it a try. I am off to book 2.

One I missed and shouldn't have

This series is both a stand alone and part of a series. If you haven't read The Kurtherian Gambit Series, I enjoyed it, but it's not required, to understand and enjoy this story. I can't recommend the author or the narrator highly enough. This was a fun, fast paced ride across the universe. I will a warning, if you don't like gratuitous, funny swearing, this books not for you. But if you like fast paced action, good versus evil, Listen to this.

If you liked "Space Team" you will like this. Phil Thron is great as always. A great opening novel for a series.

This book is probably orientated towards young adults. If you overlook the somewhat childish humor and simplistic plot premise, which is at times overly convenient, then this turns out to be an entertaining read/listen. There is a fair amount of gratuitous/pointless swearing (usually in attempt to be humorous), which may be off-putting for some readers/listeners. The narrator was excellent.

Simplistic, yet fun
