Publisher's Summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Kylie Scott comes a new story in her Stage Dive series....

When the girl of your dreams is kind of a nightmare.

As head of security to Stage Dive, one of the biggest rock bands in the world, Sam Knowles has plenty of experience dealing with trouble. But spoiled brat Martha Nicholson just might be the worst thing he’s ever encountered. The beautiful troublemaker claims to have reformed, but Sam knows better than to think with what’s in his pants. Unfortunately, it’s not so easy to make his heart fall into line.

Martha’s had her sights on the seriously built bodyguard for years. Quiet and conservative, he’s not even remotely her type. So why the hell can’t she get him out of her mind? There’s more to her than the Louboutin wearing party-girl of previous years, however. Maybe it’s time to let him in on that fact and deal with this thing between them.

Short but adorable...

It’s been a while for me and the stage dive books. But this short cute little gem made me reload the whole lot of them back on my kindle to re-indulge. Cuing up book one just a soon as I press submit. ;)
Sam is my ideal kind of guy full of confidence. So much so much that a forceful saucy surly female lights him up not dims him down. I like how Marty is both like-able and un-like-able in the same second. Her frowny grouchy self was just adorable. I wouldn’t have minded spending a bit more time in the land of Sam and Marty but it was still a good time to be had. Thumbs up to both Scott and Arndt for work well done.

The Crew is BACKKKk

I completely enjoyed this book; it was like old friends I needed to know how they were doing. It was funny and sweet and we get all the Stage Dive crew! Sigh Mal I needed a little of you in my life please never chance!

Sam and Martha’s story is sweet; I liked getting to see Ben and Martha together you can feel their sibling bond. Though it might be strained from time it really was one of the best parts of this novella for me.

Sam is the A-Typical bodyguard strong silent type until he finally goes after what he wants, then all bets are off.
Did I say I enjoyed this book? Well, I did I really did, sometimes novellas fall flat for me but this was completely a hit.

No surprise Andi was the narrator she is SD!

Martha finally gets redeemed

well I think all us fans have waited so long for this book, disappointed that it was put out as a novella way too short, however it was a nice book to catch up on how everyone in the stagedive family is doing, martha and Sam's romance was a strange match up, as in past books sam was never put forth as a alpha male, it was a lack luster performance by the author, the narrator was perfect but she only had so much to work with

Hard to like the heroine

The main female character just got on my nerves too much. She was cold and had no personality. I don’t know if the author was trying to portray her having a personality disorder or maybe be on the spectrum but that’s how she came off to me. I haven’t read any of the books in the series preceding this one but the other characters were interesting. Maybe listening to the previous books may give more of a backstory of Martha and would give better prospective on her behavior in this book.

Wish this was longer

I like how we got to have Sam and Martha get together. I just wish that this was longer because there chemistry in this is great.
They didnt B.S. around at all with eachother and that's what I loved the most.
Great Narrating by Andi of course and Author as well.
Sad that this series is over but now to the next series by Kylie Scott.

Sam and Martha's story is a pleasure.

I enjoyed this without having read any of the series. Sam is older than Martha. He's 41 if I remember correctly. He's waited for years for the right time for him and Martha. He's calm and she's not so much, but she's smart and finally maturing. She apparently messed up in relationships in the past. She gets to clear the air and gets the solid, dependable guy that is smart enough to give her the right amount of power in the relationship without being diminished as the man in charge. I'm looking forward to reading the series.

A brilliant addition to the Stage Dive series.

I was gutted when I finished the Stage Dive series, so I had high expectations when I listened to Strong. What I got was a perfect addition to the Stage Dive series. This is a fun, sweet and sensual romance this time focusing on Ben's sister Martha and Sam, the long suffering, stoic, security for Stage Dive. Previously Martha has not been a likeable character, however after several years have passed, it is a far more mature, interesting Martha that comes to stay with her brother, sister-in-law and nephew. In addition to the romance it was nice to see a nicer side of Martha. Her relationship with nephew Gibby is entertaining and touching. I would have loved for this to be a full length book as I cannot get enough of this series, however, it works really well as a standalone as I already knew her history with her family and the band.
Andi Arndt provides fabulous narration. Having narrated the rest of this series, I expected great vocal acting and Ms Arndt once again delivered.

A good addition to the Stage Dive books

I remember these characters in a previous book, and was pleasantly surprised to read about them. The protagonist is a strong character - she stands steadily on her own, but it's good to see that she has found her match.

This book has a good mixture of romance and plot, and the characters are lovable.

I would recommend it - short and sweet.

The Stage Dive story I didn't know I needed

I admit, I was not a fan of Martha through the Stage Dive series, she was selfish and a trouble maker, and I just wanted to slap the nasty out of her.

Kylie Scott has done a great job of redeeming her in my eyes, and at times I even felt sorry for her (I know, GASP, right?)

I enjoyed seeing all of the Stage Dive guys and their ladies (I still maintain that Mal is MINE!), and where they were at this stage in their lives.

Sam, oh Sam how I adore you, and I can understand why Martha tripped and fell right in love with the guy.

I enjoyed the narration, and found myself walking around my house with my headphones on so I could listen a little more (and too lazy to take headphones off and use Alexa lol)

Thank you Ms Scott for this novella - I didn't know I needed Martha's story until I started listening.

Waste of time

This book was boring. Also, very short. It was no where near as good as the rest if the series- what I would call a “why bother?”
It wasn’t funny, the female lead was shallow, the male a wimp (how did Sam end up being such a weak hero???)
Even Andi Arndt, the narrator, was obviously bored, as her performance was unusually bland.
Save your credit/cash. Books 1 and 2 were the best, with 2 really funny, so buy them instead, if you have not already.

Redemption and love

It’s always good to catch up with all the guys and this time is no exception. This story will have you laughing out loud and falling for the guys all over again.
