I won't order these again

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I'm sure this series is very popular but I find them more simplistic that I prefer

What could Joanne Fluke have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The plot is pretty good, but the presentation is a bit trite and transparent

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Suzanne Toren?

Her voice was not as flexible as I would have liked to make the character sound more realistic

Excellent

I find that Suzanne Toren is an excellent nararrator and Joanne Fluke's books are excellently written, exciting and holds suspense. I have even reproduced some of her recipes which are better than anything I've bought from a bakery!

Easy Listening

I love Joann Flukes books. Hannah is a hoot and she sure keeps the book moving. Just purchased the newest book Cream Puff Murder. Haven't finished it yet.

I love these books!

It’s fun to figure out whodunnit in this light hearted murder mystery. I like that they aren’t very dark and they have great characters! I just wish they didn’t read the recipes. I don’t know how many times I have read or listened to these but I enjoy them every time!

Disappointed in humanity

Having now read two books in this series, I think I can say with some measure of confidence that I don't believe the author has ever actually spoken to anyone under the age of 30. To be quite honest, the main character is beyond obnoxious, bordering on insufferable. both Mysteries, book 1 and 2, were very contrived and not at all engaging, and none of the characters were developed enough that I found myself sympathizing with them, except perhaps the brutalized Danielle, who barely got any page time whatsoever. If I were you, I would skip this series, and find an author whose actually worth reading because this is certainly not it.

Strawberry shortcake murder

Great story it pulls you in and doesn't let you go till the end and the recipes description really make you want to try making them

Standard Joanne Fluke Fare

I have a love-hate relationship with this series, having read or listened to all of the books available so far. I see so much potential for the characters and I feel at home in the world of Lake Eden, Minnesota.
While I do get exasperated with Hannah's grammar policing and sometimes find her a bit put-offish, for the most part I find these stories very entertaining and they always keep my interest.

Lightly baked

Another well mixed concoction of story line and kitchen fun. Who would have thought cookies & murder would mingle so well.?
Ms Toren delightful managed tension and mishaps among delightful characters in their designated settings . Well done fun.
