What's better than a good story? A story with a message!
Being an educator is hard work, and it's easy to doubt whether we're making a difference in the lives of our students. In Stories of EduInfluence, veteran educator Brent Coley shares stories from more than two decades in the classroom and front office, stories illustrating the life-changing power we possess.
In each section, Brent transparently recalls experiences as a classroom teacher and site administrator, from humble successes to epic failures. These stories focus on the unique powers every educator possesses, powers that comprise what Brent calls "EduInfluence". Each power is centered on a particular belief that, if embraced, can transform one's practice. Sections end with reflection questions to help listeners take what they've listened and apply it in their own classrooms, offices, or at home with their own kids.
If you have ever become discouraged and asked yourself, "Am I making a difference?" this audiobook is for you. If you're looking for encouragement and inspiration conveyed through stories that will make you smile, laugh, and even cry, this audiobook is for you. Because you do make a difference, every single day, even when you don't realize it!

#Edinfluence is a Must-Have for All Educators
It's not just a light bulb that goes off as I listen and read #Eduinfluence. It's a freaking Fourth of July fireworks show in my mind. I feel the Spirit when I read your book. I'm not kidding. It is overwhelming and hits every note for me. Can't thank you enough, Brent.
Personal experience: I haven't been able to transition to school leadership. God only knows why. I have had crash-and-burn interviews. But you know, in my heart, I know what I am doing is what is best for my students, and these students need me to be their teacher right now. That message in your next to last chapter really reassured me on my walk yesterday. I never felt better.
I share #Eduinfluence with every teacher I interact with when I ask them what book they're reading for professional development. I will continue to.
Have a great day, Brent, and thank you for just being in my life and always encouraging. I'm sure you've my footsteps in the sand on many occasions.
