Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yeah, and I did so.Any additional comments?
Having never touched the original 'quit smoking' Easy Way, I found the express version to be pretty basic and easy to follow. It enabled me to quit e-cigs for an entire month after implementing the principles, so it definitely works.I did end up returning to vaping e-cigs, but it was out of my personal choice and it didn't feel like a necessity. I believe I genuinely enjoy it, but if I ever need to quit again I have the book that worked well for me the first time, so I'm confident in its ability to work again.
Overall, it's great to have in your collection if you want to quit and be stoic about it.
Short and easy to follow

This author is essentially giving you the tools for a cold-turkey nicotine addiction shut-down, which is the only way to go. He basically gives you the self talk needed to beat the addiction itch that perpetuates the addiction itself.
Easy... Well it's easy in that you don't torture yourself with cutting down and nicotine replacement therapy, which don't work. Anyone that has quit using these things ends up (in the end) going cold-turkey. There is no cut-down on nicotine addiction. You're either addicted or you're not.
This book much more eloquently and completely goes through this and other reasons we smoke and shuts it down.
I think it's worth it to listen to it three times before you go to chapter 21. It all sounds like common sense but after the third time is when you really "get it". It's hard to explain.
Good luck. Give this book a good read before dismissing it. I'm smoke-free 6 months on a 25 year addiction at about a pack a day
Convinced after 10 years of trying to quit

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, because it will shed 'light' on the elusive ways of kicking the habit. Quitting with nicotine gums, patches, vapes, etc doesn't work. You just need to quit, and I love the section explaining why these methods don't work. Allen Carr has an amazing way of not using scare tactics, but giving you enough fear of the unknown. He also has shed a light on the 'willpower' technique, and why it doesn't work well. I think he just has a way of making you feel very stupid, without calling you directly stupid. Whatever it is, it worked. I haven't smoked once since listening. What other book might you compare Stop Smoking and Quit E-Cigarettes to and why?
Haven't read one - got lucky and bought the right one first. What about Richard Mitchley’s performance did you like?
It was good - clean and concise. He is well spoken. What insight do you think you’ll apply from Stop Smoking and Quit E-Cigarettes?
All of it.Amazing. Simply Amazing!
