Publisher's summary

"Stolen Lies is absolute vindication. It’s everything the reader needs it to be. It is answers. It is redemption. It is freedom. And of course, it is dark love that knows no bounds." (Becky, Sweet Spot Sisterhood Blog)

From USA Today best-selling author K Webster and Nikki Ash comes Stolen Lies: a romantic suspense.

My life was brutal, horrific, ruthless.
Dark.
Until a beautiful bride was dragged into my life.
I took her as my prize and made her mine.
Vengeance never tasted so sweet.
I see her truths every day, and it's hard not to fall for a woman who makes me weak.
She can try to run, but I have no intention of ever letting her go.
I wanted to marry for hate, but it looks like hate is a lie.

Stolen Lies is the gripping conclusion in the Truths and Lies Duet.

I finished the duet

I feel like I would've like it better if the heroine wasn't so back and forth what I mean is on one scene she would be badass in her thought buy then get all Damsel in distress the next no spoilers but I was not a fan of her also the repetitive phrase of her being a mafia queen, but still over looking that it was still a good story.

The conclusion I was waiting for!!!

I was completely dying for the conclusion to the Truth and Lies Duet after the ending of the first book. Do not start Stolen Lies without reading or listening to the first book in the duet, Hidden Truths. I felt like this was one of those kick butt endings… I mean, I knew Kostas was going to be all out crazy looking for Talia. I didn’t expect it to go down like it did. I love that he believed in his and Talia’s love to know she didn’t walk away from him. He searched high and low for her, never knowing that was right in the last place he ever expected. The author’s, K Webster and Nikki Ash did a great job creating a duo that kicks butt together. Both Kostas and Talia are strong but together they are vicious and they are out for blood together.

The narrators, Sarah Puckett and Jeffrey Holz did a great job. Now Holz isn’t my favorite narrator when he tries doing female voices… it’s a bit cringy to be honest. However, I really thought he did a great job with Kostas. Puckett is always fabulous. She pulled out all the stops for Talia. It’s full of the emotions from the story and I really loved it!

Great conclusion!

Nikki Ash and K Webster are a great writing team. They're excellent authors who wrote a storyline that I didn't want to pause with characters that I loved! I was so invested that it felt like forever before we'd get a HEA! I LOVED it!

Sarah Puckett is a favorite narrator and Jeffrey Holz is becoming one quite fast. They both had emotional performances that had the book rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection.

Perfect Ending!

This was an excellent ending to this duet! Story was fantastic, lots of steam and lots of edge of the seat action. It tugged the heart strings, and kept me listening the entire day! Narration was absolutely spot on, couldn't ask for better! Total 5 star listen, and I don't hand those out very easily. Worth your time and credit, this duet is just right!

A Wild & Twisted Ride! Brilliant Story & Listen🎧

Nikki Ash and K. Webster continue to wow me with this mind-blowing finale to their “Truths and Lies Duet”. This book picks up where the first book ended, so if you have not read or listened to “Hidden Truths” what are you waiting for? That is where the story starts, it lays down the foundation for the duet and everything that took place in that book leads up to this mind blowing conclusion. Thalia had come to grips with her new life married to Kostas, but once again, the rug gets pulled out from under her and she becomes a pawn in Kostas’ brother’s sick game. Aris took so much from Talia, but he can not take her determination to survive and get her life back. Kostas’ life was spinning out of control, he lost everything when Talia left but he is not giving up on her. This dark and twisted, action-packed romantic suspense is brilliantly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense moments that brings you to the edge of your seat, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Nikki Ash and K. Webster, thank you for this wild and twisted ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Jeffry Holz and Sarah Puckett’s exceptional narration continues as they bring these characters and their story to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they portray, give each a voice that is a perfect fit to that character’s persona, sounding believable in every role they play. Holz nails it as the mafia boss and Puckett takes Talia’s role up a notch with the confidence of the mafia queen she is. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary and support characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured the character’s emotions and projected them into their performance, having you feel every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for the exceptional listen!

Sooooo Good!!!

Stolen Lies is book 2 in The Truth and Lies Duet by Nikki Ash and K Webster and a great conclusion to this duet.
This book picks up where Hidden Truths ended. Talia is gone and Kostas is a broken man searching for his wife.

In this story we see Talia as an even stronger female and we see a whole new side of Kostas. Kostas is more vulnerable and more protective than ever.

This story is pulse pounding and suspenseful. Shocking secrets and twists will have you on the edge of your seat!

This book is dual narration. Sarah Puckett and Jeffrey Holz do a fantastic job of bringing these characters to life.

Good!

After being bored for most of book 1, I ended up getting totally hooked near the end and NEEDING this one. Interesting tactic on the authors’ part.
This one starts a year after that cliffie in book 1 … it’s turmoil, action, drama, and heat. Overall, a good, quick listen. Must better-paced than the first.

4 stars.

Audio:
Very good, especially the female. The male did a great job w/ the male parts, but his female impersonations are awful. Excellent sound quality overall.

Not too bad

The main thing that grated on a pretty decent duet is the male narrator’s female part. It was kind of predictable to me but I wouldn’t say it has no redeeming plots.
