Engaging Plot

I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.

If you enjoy Jack Reacher or Jason Bourne - you will enjoy this book. Steel Force is an action thriller with an engaging plot with plenty of conspiracies to keep you guessing. Jack Steel is an interesting well-rounded character who is driven by a strong moral code.

Slow start but great book!

I really enjoyed this book, it’s nice to see another action book where it doesn’t always work in the main characters favor. Trying to figure out how to review without giving the book away is hard. None the less it was worth the read. Major character development in this first book. You can’t help but root for the hero.

I was provided this book by the author for an unbiased review

And I am so glad that I did. I really could not put this book down. Geoffrey built the characters very well and put a lot of twists in them that you didn't expect. Will definitely read the next one and am hoping that the 2 main characters are still together.

Too Many Mind

Jack S is a bit different and that's fine. He needs to redefine his focus to reduce, hopefully to zero, his woe is me tendencies to keep his aura of capability, if not invincibility. I really was looking forward to Steel finding Rachel, even keeping the same disappearance scenario. Well thanks got to get to Assassin, later.

I give most books a chance

This one started out slow and every bit indicative of a novice author. After some slow and agonizing openings and a rolling story, it picked up and finally finished decent.

Narrator is to robotic.

Needs a different narrator, He sounds like a robot. The story is really good. I would have given 5 stars if the narration was better.

Cookie cutter

Most of these authors use the same character types, white hero, lone wolf, mental Illness, relationship problems, careless, PTSD, flawed, but yet questionably honorable in an idiotic manner. In this book the only difference is Jack Steel did not obsess over coffee.
