Creepy

I really enjoyed this book. I’m into all things creepy and I’ve heard a lot of the stories out there around these subjects. This book however had ones that I’ve never heard of before and I was amazed. I really enjoyed them. Thank you to the ones who shared them as well.

interesting read

some may assume all the stories are fictional or crypypasta and some may be. but at least one is from a documented case of which I am aware. Some of the most dramatic paranormal encounters are almost never released publicly. while the author does take everyone's reports at face value, I do believe there's some diamonds in the rough here.

Concise and well written

While short, the author chose very good accounts and conveyed the messages in a concise but still very interesting manner. the narrator read beautifully. very engaging and a great quick listen for even the most impatient of listeners.

First in a New Series

This is the first book in a new series about strange things that happen in the woods. What a beginning! All of these tales are frightening. It took courage for the survivors to come forward and share their stories, their lives have definitely been changed. Do note the suggestions noted in the introduction, you may not want to go in the woods. Or live near them. Spooky and frightening, another great series from Tom Lyons.

Spooky Dookie

I was curious about the subject matter because of something that I witnessed in 1998 in the Northern California forests. Through the Rockefeller forest up in Humboldt County, there is a tiny area, I believe is called: Honeydew, California
it didn't mention the...creature in this particular book, but nonetheless, it's real.
Maybe the next book will mention it. As a kid, I always thought that I wanted to see something... Otherworldly.
Until I did.
This book is, in a weird way, was therapeutic for me.

Short and Hard to Believe

really short. only a handful of stories. most of them are incredibly far fetched and hard to believe, and that's coming from a fan of these types of stories. not bad for a quick road trip though.
