Hidden within the sprawling beauty of America’s national parks are secrets that defy explanation. National Park Encounters: Case Files of the Strange & Mysterious pulls back the curtain on eerie tales and perplexing phenomena reported by rangers, visitors, and locals alike. From unsettling sightings of humanoid creatures to unidentified flying objects in the sky, this collection delves into some chilling and unexplainable accounts recorded.

Each chapter explores a unique case through first-hand statements, journal excerpts, and reconstructed events, the book captures the fear, wonder, and curiosity of those who’ve come face-to-face with the unknown.

Perfect for fans of true crime, the paranormal, and the unexplained, this compendium is as much an ode to the wild as it is a chilling reminder of how much we have yet to understand about the natural world. Dare to wander into the untamed and uncover the mysteries lurking in the shadows of our most beloved landscapes.

National Park Encounters will make you think twice about what truly lies beyond the trailhead.

When the narration would say underscore because there’s an _, or say Greater Than because of >, it really throws you out of it.

I am not sure whether these stories are factual or not, but the wonder whether they are or not eas what made it fun to listen to.

It was a fun listen@

of trying to portray events as factual by utilizing so called “official reporting documents”. The information given as being from the reports is in no way any method of documenting events that happened. The language used is much too colorful and flamboyant for writing in an official document. While the stories make for ok listening for those that want to propagate folk lore, they in no way come across to me as factual events from official documents or anything other than “he said, she said” type stories.

The lameness…..

By the fifth book, I believe it was all the virtual voice, which was actually very good kept saying between every third word I believe was_Underscore, underscore. I finally couldn’t deal with it anymore and shut down the book and consider it finished. It’s a shame because the virtual voice was very good. It was obviously from a real person that I’ve heard before but until they can perfect all this, there’s going to be glitches. And I don’t have the slightest idea until now what underscore meant________ hint!

The stories were all the same

What is up with the narrators? They’re very unnatural, the woman is absolutely robotic.
I would have listened for the info about Bigfoot and other scary entities but please. Did you read that straight from police reports?
I really hate letting you guys talk me into buying stuff you have to know is not worth listening to, let alone paying for.
You don’t do refunds any more so I’m just going to have to be very, very careful what I buy from you hereafter.
Are those reviews from REAL people or aliens? Worst listen EVER.

What? Audible swore this was a hugely good listen….
