Disappointed

I have always loved this series. Marie’s writing has always been excellent; but for some reason now she feels the need to add more descriptive sex scenes and vulgar language.

I prefer more action and interaction scenes with her family, friends & co-workers. I have imagination enough for Nicks and Sam’s sex life, without the details. And, good grief cut back on some of the vulgar language!

Eva Kaminsky’s narration is good, but I believe there are more male voices than she seems to be able to alter her voice for. It has gotten increasingly difficult to differentiate between characters and sometimes male and female characters. Maybe a male narrator for the male voices would help?.

These are the reasons I gave 3 stars for one of her books, for the first time. I would never say not to read it, because the story itself is good. There is just too much vulgar language & sex; not as much as some, but more than needs to be.

Best book series EVER

I love listening to audiobooks, but I have to say this series has been the best. Please enjoy.

Just some of the emotions that I went through reading and listening to this series! Narrated well, edited well, and cannot wait for more. Thanks to the author for entertaining me and mine.

Excellent continuation, very exciting

Amazing story with the same characters. I love how they’re all developing and the diverse issues they each face. And the adorable Skippy, whom I’ve told my husband the same that Scotty told his dad about the dog having a mind of her own & says her place is in bed also. Except I have 3 puppies. Great narration by Eva Kaminsky. Can’t wait to start the next one.

Love this series!

Love this series and the narrator. The narrator is one I search for. I wish I would have known there was a series before this one that runs into it, it is still great without listen to the prior!

The First Family series just keeps getting better. I love the family that Sam and Nick have created.

Really am surprised

It’s really a good book you have to listen to the first series first or you miss a lot of good stuff.

An excellent series

I love Sam and Nick and the way Marie keeps things moving in their story.

I’m not sure where Marie comes up with some of the stuff and the follow up from other parts of their stories but it’s awesome. I love it when Sam gets real and swears cause she’s a cop, she lives the life and Freddy and her relationship is so funny!

I appreciate that she has toned down the frequency of Sam and Nicks sex life mostly because the story and the mystery of the murder is always the best along with the dialogue with all the other characters is so important it’s like catching up with old friends for me.

It’s a great series you’ll love it!

Repetitive

I have enjoyed the Fatal Series and was looking forward to this series but way to much of the last few books is about the other books and not enough about the current story. I understand that when people read the book and haven’t read the other books the author tries to bring the past history of characters into the book but it has been way to much. Also having “Sam” constantly repeating the same things in the same book is also getting annoying. Sorry. But this is how I feel. Disappointed. Need more of current story and less of rehashing the past books.

I really enjoyed listening to Eva Kaminsky's performances of Marie Force's audiobook. This is #2 in this series. I can't wait for "3. Definitely worth a credit. Enjoy 😊!

Amazing book

Wow what can I say, an absolutely brilliant and fabulous story in this ongoing series. I adore these characters. The storyline never ceases to keep me entertained and mesmerised. The kids are cute and Scotty is adorable. Add in Eli and you have the perfect family. Each page keeps me reading and not wanting to sleep until I finished. I cannot wait for the next book now. Fabulous narration as always
