More like a class textbook

The book is more like a classroom textbook: full of definitions an theory. If that’s what you’re looking for then get it. But if you are looking for more actionable steps and practical knowledge to start your own business, it’s not of much use...

Decent content but speedy narrator

The content is sufficient for a beginner but not a good choice for some one like me with no business background who intend to understand some core concepts without being surrounded with big words.
The thing which annoyed me the most was the speed of narrator. He was too fast that sometimes needed to stop and breath. This rush unable me to digest what I was hearing so gradually my brain started to filter it as a background noise.

Great Book for Entrepreneurs

This is a well researched and masterfully presented that reading it became music for me. I listened to it over and over and found it an instructional guide to business as a whole. Ken Kolwell PhD really knows what he is talking about in this book. He is authoritative and clear in explaining concepts to a budding entrepreneur. I recommend this book to my friends who want to begin a business. I enjoyed the section on writing a business plan. The reader was great. I humbly suggest accompanying bonus materials be linked to the main page for a fuller and easier experience.

Very Informative

This book is a great tool for anyone that is thinking about starting a business, or someone that has started one that has failed. The narration is amazing. Speaks clearly and just the right volume. Even if you don't know anything about starting a business this is a step by step guide anyone could follow. I learned a lot from this audio book.

One of the most interesting Audiobooks ever!

First of all, I was very glad that this course included many different subjects, because I would have never bought an audiobook about marketing, but it turned out that "Marketing" was the most interesting chapter of this course for me!
I really feel like I learned a lot from this book, and I've also enjoyed it as entertainment because all of the lectures were excellent! Many of them witty and funny, and that made the learning much more effective and fun.

Very informative, terrible narration

I’m doing best to process the information in this book however it’s very difficult due to the narrator (also author) being monotone and also skipping through punctuation marks. Many run on sentences. I have 3 hours remaining to finish the book and I know it will be painful.

Great for what the title says!

I enjoy the book it is a real eye opener or in this case, an ear opener for beginning entrepreneurs. It goes from basic start guide to more elaborate structural and business needs wants and starts. I do not believe I could of picked a first book better than this one on my entrepreneurial journey. Thanks for the great book Ken Colwell!
