While the book suffered from some end-of-series lack of novelty, Edward W. Robertson crafted a splendid completion book. There were no loose ends, a lot of both ground battle encounters along with close-call space battle encounters. There was even a interesting Breakers tie-in surprise near the end.

Kansas morphing into a teenage female version of Halo's CPO Mendez was more than a bit over-the-top.

I was saddened to read about the highly capable Ray Chase narrator retirement from a recent Edward W. Robertson email update but wish him well in his future endeavors. He'll be sorely missed.

A good end to the series

Fun story with nice focus on a few well established characters. Plenty of action to keep things moving quick. Nice to have a satisfying conclusion, many similar series go on endlessly without delivering. This series delivers.

Fun easy listen

Very satisfying conclusion to an awfully horrific "alien encounter." And a wonderful one, as well. As predictable and yet unanticipated (at every turn) as one expects from Robertson. An excellent, satisfying, and worthwhile read. [As long as you've read books 1-4 (or 0-4) first.]

Creative, deep, and chair-gripping series finale.

I have loved the Breaker series from the very first installment. Thank you for continuing it in such a spectacular fashion, kudos.

I hope it isn’t over

This concluded a tale that lasted a thousand years and was an amazingly satisfying ending. 😌
