Chen's writing was amazing, the narrators were perfect. Really changes your perspective on Outlaws.

A great addition to Star Wars

I was a little trepidatious going into this book. I loved Outlaws and ND-5, but Jaylen was a bit of a blank slate to me. So a lot was riding on whether or not he would be a compelling character. I’ve read and enjoyed other books by Chen, so I was optimistic.

Chen builds a great backstory for both Jaylen and ND-5, and enjoying it does not require any knowledge of the game. The usage of dual POV’s from Jaylen and ND-5 was a great choice and goes a long way towards keeping readers invested in both.

There are some welcome surprises in the book that Star Wars fans will enjoy.

Specific to the audiobook, the dual narrators was a great choice, and really added to the experience. And the same actors as the game was a treat.

I would love to have more stories with Jaylen ND-5, and Kay.

This book adds amazing detailed back story to ND-5 and Jaylen for the game Star Wars outlaws!! A must read for anyone who likes the underworld of Star Wars.. the Hutts Pikes, Crimson Dawn. Even getting a cameo of Fennec Shand!!
