Great story

This was a sweet, clean romance. Nikki Larsen has created a story that will pull at your heartstrings and make you fall in love with her characters. Rhonda Kravhmer does a fantastic job narrating and bringing the characters to life.

Absolutely PERFECT!!!

I read this book when it was first written and I absolutely LOVED Garrett and Ashlyn. They were truly each other’s other half. Even though these two totally frustrated me at times, I couldn’t get enough. Every time I thought they were getting their crap together BAM they would be a HOT MESS all over again.
I loved Garrett and finding out his truths solidified that Ashlyn is his true HEA. The love is in the words and Ms. Dykes is sure to deliver all the feels.

Now to be able to listen to the audio just makes it 10x better. The characters were really brought to life!! Loved the narration!

Heart breaking and love filled story!

You will not regret taking the time to listen to this story! Garrett and Ashlyn have spent years in heart ache and trying to overcome a great loss. That loss brings them together and tears them apart all at once. They use each other as a crutch but never face the truth and overcome their past. Listen and see how all this plays out in the end! It’s a beautifully written story that stays with you.

Emotional

Standstill was emotional, tragic, sad, sweet, and everything in between. It was the story of Ashlyn and Garrett and how they dealt with survivor's guilt and the loss of someone close to them. What a great story that I highly recommend. Verla Bond did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.

Gridlock To Escape!

Standstill is a new adult standalone novel told in dual pov with the perspective of Ashlyn and Garrett. The writing style exhuberates deep thoughts and depth. The calamitious prologue is so heart-rending that pieces of your heart will shatter. Tear drops and tissue boxes, a beautiful lovestory with the sake of cherishble friends. I found the characters compelling with complex personalities. I loved getting the history and the timeline was tenable. I'm just sad to see it end as I loved it so much.
Looking forward to more by this talented author.

Narrator Verla Bond is a talented narator. Her performance was smooth and her sweet inflection was just perfect i loved her performance of the characters. She was ability to give the characters their own voice. I'm looking forward to listening to more audio's performed by this narator.
