Publisher's summary

Awakening on the cold stone slab that kept his Nephilim father in stasis for thousands of years, Robert finds himself alive again. Surrounded by cultists who wish to enslave him, he ends their threat only to realize he is destined to replace his father as one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Unfortunately, everyone seems to be in the armageddon business these days. Refusing to be a slave to man or fate, Robert plans on putting an end to their machinations—or die trying.

Another in the books

This book did a good job with Ghost. He has become one of my favorites. I hope the other get highlighted the same at some point. I’m a big fan of character growth.

Great book

I have listened to it out of order. I have to listen to book 1&2 now. I really enjoyed it. Can’t wait to listen to the other books.

Come up to the lab and see what's on the slab.

Hint: It's Robert. He's on the slab and wakes up with such a crick in his neck that he's a little cranky. No, make that a lot cranky. Book three, much like corn, has the JUICE. The book starts off with a conundrum and crashes into crazy going 100 MPH, and it never slows down. Nephilim Unbound is a series that isn't picking up steam; its picking up plasma, that higher state of matter, and it looks like it's building to some incredible crescendo that involves a whole lot of blood and violence.

Always a positive thing if you ask me.

I see why Mr. Oliver's first initials are AC; it's on account of him being so coooool. My man breezes in like the wind in Antarctica, i.e., chill, man, chill as hell, and lays out the story as if he wrote it himself. He's quickly growing on me as a storyteller. Not like mold, but in a genuinely appreciative manner.

This is one of the best new Urban Fantasy series to come out in a looong time.

Not quite there

I love this series, but this book kind of put me off a bit. Moved around a lot and just couldn't keep my interest. The narrator was not as good as the first two books. But all in all, it was a good book.
