Great book and good world building so far

Great book,
Simple farm boy with a heart of gold but still struggling with his demons, like all humans would and should
Can’t wait to see what happens next on our MC’s adventure and how the prince will turn out to be
The narrator also did a great job, but I’m not sure if it’s the equipment or the recording, but there’s something weird with the audio, great narration nonetheless

Magic!

Great start to the series. Magic abilities are found in the poorest of the poor of Malkanor with Rylin showing greater power than his mentor could have imagined. As Rylin learns more and more about chronomancy, he becomes aware of an evil approaching that he is helpless to stop. But Rylin also has to deal with his alter ego, who is a more vengeful, show-no-mercy persona, which I assume will become a greater presence in the following books.

Narration was very good with the exception of the few odd repeats of sentences.

Story Rocks!

Jason wrote a beautiful and intriguing story. It'd s nice mix of dark magic, evil Villains,, and twists and turns. Rylin is by far the best and most well rounded character in the story so the story gets 5 stars.
However, the narrator drove me up a wall. Many of the characters have too similar of voices, lots of monotone dialect, no pauses going into new chapters, and dialogue tags dound weird when he reads them. Narrator also needs to clean final audio much better. If the narrator can get his stuff together I think it will be a fire series! Overall the story makes ot a worthwhile listen. Look forward to listening to the coming books and improvements from the narrator!

I very rarely do this, but the narrator improved so much over the books I had to come back and revise my star ratings. I was really impressed with hos hard work!

unusual magic system

the good engaging story. good narration characters that draw you in. you can't help it like and wonder what's going to happen next. I did have some problems with the editing at the chapter breaks when one chapter ends in the next one starts you get two to three words that repeat so it's kind of a little jarring to listen to but still worth the credit

fabulous story, great new world, well told

The author has masterfully introduced us to a whole new epic world of fantasy and magic. The narrator brings these characters to life, and I highly recommend as it's difficult to stop listening now that I've begun!

I love this story.

The narration may be a little rough sometimes (ie: occasional repeat words and cheesy delivery) but I find this story to be enthralling. I often caught myself thinking about what might happen next and I can't wait for the next book in the series.

At first I was not sure. But then it got me hooked. Well written. Narrator keep it very interesting.

Fantasy Book with adventure and lots of action

Rylin, a young boy of 14 is discovered to have hidden powers that bring him to the attention of the Order of the Enlightened Sun. Once living in an impoverished community faced daily with cruelty from the elite, the Order of the Enlightened Sun discovers many of the young people in this community have vast amounts of hidden power. This discovery will provide the necessary means to defeat the Order of the Void Triangle once again.

The author, Jason Harrington, creates a story and a new world that is rich in details and adventure. He develops the story and characters with vivid details. The story blends together adventure, action, and suspense in an entertaining manner. The story flows smoothly. Once the story and characters are introduced, the story moves quickly with action and lots of adventure. The plot twists fit within the story well.

The narrator, Mason Jesse Hamilton provides each character with a unique and strong voice that reflects their personality and role in the story. Hamilton speaks clearly and with accuracy, keeping the story moving forward with proper tonal and timing. I have not had the pleasure of hearing this narrator before but found that I enjoyed hearing the performance immensely.
This is an entertaining and thrilling story rich with vivid details and a storyline that flows smoothly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and I look forward to more by Harrington.

The audio production of this book was well done with an occasional occurrence of repeated sentences. The quality of sound was perfect.

A grand adventure for any age! Both well written and well narrated, it's absolutely one I'll be recommending.

All around, an instant classic

Aside from the story, characters, and world being richly complex, well thought out, and believable, the narration of Mason Hamilton is gold. I loved how he speaks and his character voices are strong. His accents and the dramatization of characters is believe and fits the tone of the story perfectly. Excellent narration and excellent story telling combine to create the full package. I highly recommend.
