Another killer Anthology

I just finished the first book and already I am holding the next one in my hand. This is an amazing anthology. I really love the stories and the rating is way above what you should expect nowadays.

This is kind of like a new Creepshow in a very real way. And when I compare it to that movie, I mean this is way better. I’m not a real big fan of Stephen king at all, so I love getting a good anthology of horror and being able to just sit back in the dark and listen before I go to bed. Like all books, there are some stories that are great, but there are really no bad ones here. Some just hit a little bit harder than others but they all hit and you walk away bleeding if you are careful.

Can I just say the narration by Sean Corday, or Dr C as he is known, is just incredible. I really love his work the man can tell tales of terror. And it’s nice to hear somebody else do some horror stories. I like Joe Hemphill a lot, but I don’t need him telling me every single horror story out there doctor C is the man to go to when you were looking for some scary stuff. It makes me wonder what that C stands for I know it’s not for his last name. I mean, is it carnage, carrion, cabal, crazy, carnivore? I don’t know, but I know that sometimes when I sit in the dark before I put on one of these books, now I can almost hear him whispering in my ear those horrifying tales. The man is a monster, been a really good way.
