Publisher's Summary

Someone is always watching....

Derek Flint is a loner. He lives with his mother and spends his evenings watching his clients on the CCTV cameras he has installed inside their homes. He likes their companionship - even if it’s through a screen.

When a series of crimes hits Derek’s neighbourhood, DC Beth Mayes begins to suspect he’s involved. How does he know so much about the victims’ lives? Why won’t he let anyone into his office? And what is his mother hiding in that strange, lonely house?

As the crimes become more violent, Beth must race against the clock to find out who is behind the attacks. Will she uncover the truth in time? And is Derek more dangerous than even she has guessed?

A spellbinding crime novel from the worldwide best seller Cathy Glass, writing as Lisa Stone.

The ending gave me chills!

This story was about the ease in which your privacy is invaded. All through computers and security cameras. The characters were interesting and the narrator did an excellent job bringing each one into your mind. A story that makes you think twice with the technology of today's world. Gave me chills in the end. Definitely worth the money. 😀😀😀

Stalker

I loved this book. It kept me in enough suspense that I quite literally couldn't put it down. With all the twists an turns it keeps you guessing till the very end.

Stalker

This book got me out of a listening slump. I couldn't find anything that piqued my interest, I had listened to about 4 other books that were "so-so." This book caught my interest right away and it did not disappoint. Great character development and a twist at the end made this book a home-run in my eyes.

The whispering was brutal

The story was just okay over all. I found myself drifting off and not paying attention so many times. when the narrator whispers, I CAN NOT HEAR WHAT SHE IS SAYING. I would have to loop back and turn up the volume. I wouldn't recommend this book.

Creepy Reality Check

The internet has created a world of possible voyeurism as this book skillfully and scarily reveals. Book is compelling with excellent narration. It was also interesting how reader's feelings (at least mine!) toward characters took various twists and turns as story evolved. Definitely worth listening to!

Fantastic

Loved this book! I listed to books on my long commute daily and this one was fantastic. Loved getting into the car and plugging in to hear more. It was almost as if I were there with the characters involved. One of my favorites so far!

4 and a half stars

This is odd book but I couldn't put it down. The lead character is not very likable but I still found myself feeling empathy for him.

Hated everyone

Not one person could I latch on to like or cheer for; I hated the voices and especially the characters. All of them.
I cannot believe I even finished this book, it was so anticlimactic.

Super creepy stuff. I am sure the premise of this book is obvious to alot of people. For me I was still thinking is this possible? I loved the narrator and the book was worth a credit.

well written

a very well written story by an amazing author who has a way of keeping you engaged until the final word of chapter 48. this story reveals some knowledge of the dark side to the internet. Derek who is appeasing to be more sinister is actually the victim caught in a mess.
