Bath might seem like any other quaint English city, and I might appear to be just another hopeful writer. But, let's get real.

Bath is a magical treasure trove, and me? Well, I'm a budding witch named Minnie Wells, navigating my new life working at a vampire-owned tea room.

Bath, with its mystical springs and tea room run by a vampire with more charm than he has customers, isn't just your average English city. When you throw magical springs into the mix, leaving this place gets harder than you think.

As Minnie Wells, soon-to-be divorcee and fledgling witch, I'm just trying to keep my magic and secure a job. Yet, before I can perfect my brew, an employee dies during my interview. Now, I'm not just pouring tea, but scrambling to solve a murder before it buries the teahouse's reputation.

See? Just your typical day in Bath.

Don't miss Minnie's spellbinding adventures in Erin Johnson's delightful series, "Magical Tea Room Mysteries". The first book, "Spelling the Tea", is a witch's brew of magic, mischief, and a murder most foul. Dive in and let Minnie Wells whisk you away on a bewitching whodunit that'll keep you guessing till the last drop! Your cozy, magical mystery tour awaits!

I lik the story but I wish it had more magic since the main character’s a witch. I’m sure her magic develops more in sequel books. However, I won’t be listening to those since the narration and editing are so bad. There’s a difference between “just reading words” and “voice acting”. This narrator is just reading words and is so rushed throughout it makes her sound like an AI voice (which is really annoying to me). As far as the editing goes lines get repeated and you can hear the editing queues that sounds like a finger snap which is distracting.

Good story but the voice not so much
