speed. . no . . but its ok.

if you call your book speed run through the multiverse. . . I expect a fast paced book. it's was kinda that. . but at the start of this book his time to beat was something like 540+ years. . . . this book takes place over a period of 3 weeks or so.
so it's not a bad book but it makes the wrong promises at the start of the book and for me at least that loses points.

Fn cold mc!

The book is about a god king who chases the thrill of progression. He does this by rushing to ascend to god king after inhabiting zero level cultivation bodies. Basically prestigeing to restart and enjoy the thrill of overcoming the odds as a fast as possible.

I think the book was very well done and my only gripe was how cold the mc was. I understand that he has gone through a lot and been alive for a long time, but it’s hard to root for someone that intentionally puts his own family and friends in jeopardy for a whim.

I really did enjoy this book all things considered and will probably get the next one! All in all I recommend it if you enjoy cultivation with a hint of LITRPG.

Interesting.

The story was ok, and the performance was great with a good range of voices. I do enjoy anti-hero characters, so I'll be staying on this trian to check out the next stop.

Interesting premise in a plateauing genre

Firstly, I loved the whole setup of this story: a bored God king develops a hobby for speedrunning life to keep entertained. Though we don't get to find out what a Godking's purpose IS in this world in book one, I am hopeful that book two will fill this gap. Other than that minor mark against this story, I liked the world-building. The characters were great, but I did feel like we moved on to the next bit too quickly for my tastes. Alas, that is the whole premise to move soon, but I will give book two a read as well.

Idk why people are giving it bad reviews

The negative reviews almost put me off but I decided to give it a shot and it was really good. Yeah the main character is cold, but I think the story does a good job of revealing why he’s like this.

The pace and story was good but I do have a question for someone who did a lot of runs he does make a lot of noob mistakes but I guess if he did not then it won’t be stuff to read

Amazing listen and great voice

This is was a great listen, can’t wait till book 2 comes out! Need it to come out as soon as possible. You can also read the web novel on royal road !
