One of Alan Cohen’s Best

This book is rich with wisdom, intriguing perspectives, and humor. Alan Cohen is a wise and loving teacher who uses real-life situations and stories to illustrate his points.

In this book he points to the larger meaning of our lives and this world we live in, and gives practical and sage examples of how we can understand and utilize this understanding. His depth of knowledge of A Course in Miracles, his own spiritual journey, and the wisdom of some of the wisest teachers in human history blend here to become a fascinating and gentle guide, pointing those who care to listen in the right direction.

This is a book I began again from the beginning as soon as I finished it, something I very rarely do. But I recognized while reading this book, that if I could fully absorb and incorporate the information, there would literally be no need for any other “how to live the life you want” book. It is all here, a guide to self-fulfillment that is richer and more complete than any other book I have read on the subject.

My only very small quibble with the audio book is that I wish Alan Cohen had read it. It hits a little different when the reader fully comprehends the material, knows how to pronounce all the words they wrote, and knows where emphasis belongs in the reading. That said, the reader was very good, no major complaints, I just would’ve preferred Alan Cohen’s voice.

If I could recommend only one book to those seeking a better life in today’s world, it would be Soul and Destiny. I’m immensely grateful to Alan Cohen for writing it.
