I swear to God if this guy says Amber eyes one more time, I'm going to lose my mind.

If I hear "Her Amber Eyes" one more time!!!!!

This is a 3 hour story with 6 hours of unnecessary detail.

There's a part where he says her amber eyes 3 times in a 5 minute span. Like I'm so stupid I forgot, but he reminds you constantly. There's also points where he literally spends more time describing a character than they are in the scene. This book like the first is just a short story with hours of filler and that is all. I say its a hard pass. This will be the last book I listen to from this author. Avoid it unless you're a super fan of the guy.

I think this will be a great series

I liked book one . i think book 2 was even better no characterrs seem to be huge buttheads. many different personalities are blending well.
this book it was very easy to get into the story. the direction is clear just the how I cant wait t ok find out.

I love everything about this series of books I cant wait for the next installment. The narrator's do a wonderful job differentiating between the characters. thank you

decent but could have been better

some points of the story it gets kinda boring. too many details describing unnecessary things, just get to the point. I wouldn't have minded if the story was cut by a couple of hours. towards the end of the middle and end of it I pretty much lost interest.

Disclaimer I skipped all of the adult Parts in this book. So this is solely based on the factor of story and romance not sex.

The first book was very engaging and believable. it had a good sense of drama and yet trying to work through problem solving. this one is not as good. A lot of it is trying to get from point A to point B. it sounds like there's a ton of set up in this book for the other books. There is some Exposition dumps. it's just not as fun and is boring. the romance is not as believable is starting to get it to the point where the protagonist gets women handed to him. there's a lot more adult nature in this book to than the previous one. Which really is irritating cuz it takes away from the story. I would say the last book did a good job of organically putting that into the story. We're often times this one seems more that it's written in. the book is also fairly short to. it just seems like a fetch finding Quest for a whole bunch of stuff. it's just okay. I would rate it actually probably a 2.7 on the story. The voice actors just make me keep coming back to this actual story. we'll see if the third one follow suit with this book or the last book.

such a good series, loved the story the lovely ladies the different magic and mythical creatures. and of course the soul gem powers.

absolutely love this series. can't wait to see what happens next. Jacobs has done it again.

I fell off the wagon, can’t stop listening. If it wasn’t for the performances I’m sure it wouldn’t be to my liking.
