Publisher's Summary

Charlotte has always been a good girl. But being good is getting boring.

She’s not just stuck in a rut - she’s buried in it up to her chin. The only company she has in bed is the back catalogue of Netflix and falling in love feels like the stuff of fairy tales.

So when she stumbles across a popular podcast, Sorry Not Sorry, which challenges women to embrace their inner bad girl, she jumps at the chance to shake things up. Old Charlotte would never ask for a stranger’s number, go on a blind date or buy lacy lingerie...but New Charlotte is waving goodbye to her comfort zone (with a side order of margaritas).

And it turns out that good things happen to bad girls....

50/50

Charlotte was compared to Blake Lively and Ivanka Trump looks wise yet the descriptions given by herself and others implied that she was ugly, especially with how in awe she was with Tansy’s appearance? Also the romance with Xander felt rushed, she didn’t care for him for the whole of the story yet at the end she magically changed her mind? The same with Adam, she spoke as though she found him to be gross and dirty yet she gets drunk and then it’s a total 180? I enjoyed the concept of the story but I think it went too in depth in some parts which weren’t necessary. Lots of focus on Maddie at the start and during the wedding but she was completely omitted from the story when it was convenient. I didn’t hate it, and I do think it was entertaining and a good listen, there are just many parts in the story that didn’t quite sit right.

Slow burner

It was a good book, however I found it quite tedious to keep listening to the same scenario all the time.

wasn't for me

Really sorry not sorry but it just wasn't holding my interest. I couldn't relate to the flow of the story and it wasn't as funny. for me it lacked something in a romance story.

Love that all her books are interconnected!

Having read all Sophie Ranald’s books & this being the last, I was pleasantly surprised at how all the other characters I’d read about popped up in this and made me enjoy the book even more!

Lots of surprises

I liked this book the narrator was very good and her voices for each character were relatable. The story is good with a few surprises. At some points I didn’t want to turn it off.

Really?!

I'm over 8 hours into the book. If you know anything about the cam world you will pick up most of the story line instantly. You will also understand how most of it is extremely unlikely to happen
Now most of the book has finished its a fairly big let down. The performance is the only thing I enjoyed even though the American accent really isn't the best. Very little humour in the book at all.

Will finish the book and update review if it get any better:
Finished the book, very predictable ending. I ended up not liking the main character as she is so nieve. Even though the ending is predictable I felt like she could of confonted the problems more head on! the characters that are supposed to be disliked by the audience just seem to vanish. I thought the ending was really poor and the main character could of confronted the problems head on but sadly she doesn't!

Sorry, not for me.

I only got to chapter 8. That's 8 chapters of listening to immature women thinking and talking like all the men I met and worked with in the 70's - 80's - 90s. The whole story seems to constantly talk about obsessing over men, sexually, poor men. The narrator was drooling and breathing heavily - not sure if it was the author's words or just the way she interpreted them.

WORTH READING!!

I loved this book.
If you’ve read Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine, you’ll probably know where I’m coming from.
Not quite as good, but definitely along similar lines.
I loved everything about it, and I didn’t want it to end.
Are there more books that are similar?
