Brigid had amassed plenty of admirers, and there were tangled relationships within the group. But perhaps there is something more complex than jealousy at play. The rabbit’s foot, the severed hand, the coinciding meteor shower—the deeper Dimpna and Detective Sargeant Cormac O’Brien investigate, the more ominous the signs seem to be, laced with a warning that Dimpna fears it will prove fatal to overlook.

Another great listen. I am glad I found these books - great story and well read. Highly recommended!

Character development, and especially the narrator and Dingle!

The story got convoluted and had too many threads running through it. So it was confusing and I had to re-read certain parts. But over

More predictable than her other books

I felt like I knew who the killer was early on and then the book drug on getting through all the details. So far this is my least favorite series from this author.

Some of Us Are Looking is a well-written cozy mystery. I look forward to the next book.

Love this series

Thought that the “cozy mystery” rep of this author wouldn’t be for me but this series is anything but twee. And I hope we in the US can get more from this narrator - Emily O’Mahony is remarkable.

Love her stories-guessed murderer too early

The murderer stood out for me a little too early in the story, so it dulled the rest of the story a bit, but I still really enjoyed it.

Ahhh, Another of Carlene’s mysteries

It is so enjoyable to listen to another well written, well performed murder mystery by Carlene O’Connor.
She fleshes out each character and leads you through possible conclusions but then the the one you wouldn’t expect jumps out at you!
The setting in Dingle and the marvelous accent of the narrator pulls it all together.
Can’t wait for the next one!

Speed of reader is off.

I love this author. But something in production went wrong. There’s odd time spacing between sentences that is disruptive to the listening experience. The reading was slow enough I had to change the listening speed (something I’ve never done before). The story is great and it was wonderful to return to these characters!

Lots of Twists and Turns with an Unexpected Ending

Fascinating characters and a gripping story. The relationships (human and animal) help to define Dimpna’s character and make her very appealing.
