This book was good enough
Not my favorite of the set, just because of triggers. The narration was good, as always. I got the book free with Audible originals and I’m happy about that. I may not be as happy if I had to pay for it. I have mixed feelings, but we’re all a little different. lol.

Stupid heroin
For such an intelligent young woman, I cannot believe how stupid Annie was to accept shots from a stranger and drink them without really thinking twice to put herself in the situation of being kidnapped to be sold. I wanted to b!tch slap her. Augustine, the one who kidnaps her, was a sneaky bastard. This book has suspense, especially with another crime boss Geno, action and romance. Rita Amos and Indy Chapin did a very good job with the narration.

Storyline
