Brandon Andrew Morgan wants and lives a normal life. Well, mostly, anyway. Meh, at best.

I struggled to get through this. This is the first book I had to stop listening to for a while because it was just so dreadfully meh.

The story itself was okay. It seemed kike the writer had seen a Kevin Smith movie and thought 'I can do that' but just didn't quite hit the mark. There were a few funny moments, but they were few and far between. Most of the time I just wanted it to hurry up and get on with it. The Jesus portion of the story was good, but seemed to just fizzle out after some time.

The performance was not my favorite. The inflection used by the narator grated on my nerves, and there seemed to be a disconnect with what was going on in the story, and how it was delivered. There were a bunch of hard "P"s that should have been fixed in editing. Some of the lines seemed as though they were rerecorded and just pasted in as they didn't have the same cadence as the line before.

Overall, it was an okay book. Some interesting concepts, but just missed the mark in the level of humor, story telling and performance. Very meh.

Great Book

I was not sure what to expect when I started this book. it surpassed everything I could think of. it literally has it all, Vampires, check, aliens, check, zombies, check, the second coming with a brawl in a mega curch between Jesus and the Pastor, check and check!

Little too much

The characters are crass but that isn’t the problem. It’s trying to be a fun read but it fails. Too much inane dialog. There is no one character you like enough to care about as they all seem a bit ridiculous.

Best apocalypse ever.

The story makes you laugh in all the right places while giving you thrills along the way.

Garbage

I have never left a review but Amazon would not allow me to return the book and I did not want anyone else to waste their money or credit. I could not even force myself to complete this book. I seriously tried multiple times. It is the WORST book I have ever read/listened to. There is so much wrong with this book... grammer, the actions of the characters, the narrator, the EVERYTHING! Instead of a "follow button" for an author, can we have a "never again" button?

Possible the worst piece of garbage!

I..I can't believe the writer is using Jesus in this shit-show...
The whole is a whining ode to those who never fit in. Every character is horrible, horrible humans to boot. even the protagonist. There is no one to route for, Shame too, had potential. but the worst part....

It's sad when people don't know when something is only funny to them...
