Of course, he can be the sweetest, most perfect book boyfriend and still have heartbreak and angst, because this is the southern mafia, after all! A Slightly Softer Story In The Series

Saxon Houston was best friends to the southern mafia boss’s youngest son. He had always known that he would one day play the part his father and grandfather had played, but he was much more interested in training the racing thoroughbreds. He fell hard and fast for Haisley, who turned out to be sister of the enemy, and he was ready to defend her innocence. But she shut him out. Two months later, he found her in a cleaning uniform on the other side of his hotel door. And not only was she pregnant, it’s his baby. Smokin’ Hot is the 7th audiobook in the Smoke series by Abbi Glines. This is an accidental pregnancy, lovers to enemies to lovers, dark, mafia romance. The narrators, Ryan Lee Dunlap and Vivienne LaRue, gave a fantastic performance in this dual POV audiobook. I really enjoyed a slightly softer mafia romance, with the same obsessive, possessive hero as other heroes in this series. I love the way Saxon supports Haisley and goes to bat for her. It really made the romance for me. I recommend this audiobook for listeners who enjoy dark mafia and accidental pregnancy romances.

Great Narration

Another great book in the Smoke Series! Smokin' Hot is book 7 in the series, and it's Saxon and Haisley's story.

The story was well written and the characters were great as usual. I listed to the audiobook, and it made the story even better! Kyle Lee Dunlap and Vivienne La Rue did an amazing job with the narration! Kyle Lee Dunlap has become one of my favorite male narrators after this book!

Hot Indeed

This might be my first Ryan Lee Dunlap title and that voice is perfect for a dark cowboy!

Smokin' Hot is part of the Smoke Series by Abbi Glines, which can be read alone (it is book 7). However, I enjoyed it so much that I'm going back to book one as soon as possible! Saxon is broody, but when it comes down to caring, he is where it's at. He is a great fit for a Cinderella story. The spice in this one be smuttin'!

This one was a great one

It was different because Saxon doesn’t go all crazy alpha like a lot of the others. I kept expecting her to put Levi and Kai but she didn’t which was a twist. I also expected the test, but it kind of fell apart on Blaise and the guys when AJ moved up the plan. Overall a great book that still pulls you in.

I liked the females voice on the audio and liked the males voice however it had some parts where his voice didn’t sound great, like when Saxon got highly emotional.
