I have enjoyed all of these, but at the end of book 4 you left us hanging. Sorry Liz had to be the bad guy, but omg Matt not dead. You really need to do book 5 , I would love that all the guys get together one last time and get Mr president laid.

I knew it! I knew it!

Ok- as I was listening to the book I was thinking 3 stars tops because as much as I loved Gus, I swear she and Roman worked my nerves. I mean all the fighting and the bitching and the crying- it was beyond maddening. I get that even shark eating, stiletto wearing, bad asses can be vulnerable and need a hug, but damn. I thought she was a little more put together than that.

Now Roman, OMG- he too was such a pain. He lives Gus, but hates how she lives her life which is exactly how he and the guys lives there’s- the double standard is real. He couldn’t figure out a feeling if it bit him in the ass. What an ass.

Now, the turning point (as in all relationships) was when they finally got a chance to talk. Gus finally grew a pair and told Roman everything- thank God. Then we got back on the trail of who was trying blackmail the President..things were finally looking up. I figured out the double agent so that was awesome and what I always suspected was finally revealed and I couldn’t hide my excitement. I knew it, I knew it..now I have to wait months for the finale- damn it. The last 4-5 chapters finally got my juices flowing and elevated my review from good to great.

Very intense, intriguing with some great passionate love scenes. I’m a Big Lexi Blake fan and Shayla Black is now my favorite Duo. I will definitely be looking forward to more Stories from this dynamic duo. Characters are Wonderful and well developed. Narrator was Awesome. I had a hard time putting this down. I listened to both books. Superb listen. Thank you ladies for an awesome story♥️
