Publisher's summary

A threat is coming to destroy civilization....

In a way nobody had ever imagined in their worst nightmares....

And it’s human-designed.

Joey Hawke’s life is turned upside down when a future version of himself drags him into a bathroom stall. Together, they have 72 hours to save humanity. And they have to do it against the biggest, most bizarre con the world has ever seen. Failure means the poisonous destruction of every city in the world.

But Joey and his future self fail, and things rapidly descend into an unstoppable extinction-level event. Only he holds the key to saving billions of lives by turning back the clock...if he knew how.

Very interesting but missing something

The number one thing I loved about this book is it did not take place in a big American city. It took place in Hamilton which is right around the corner for me and you got a little bit of a different feel throughout this book. There were some things that I would like to change but it was a very cool premise and the idea was carried out pretty well. I felt like somethings just came a little too easy to our main character and would like to see him have to battle and struggle just a little bit more. This might’ve been just me, but I found the storyline a bit hard to follow it sometimes as it did jump back-and-forth a bit. Love the idea of the jumping back-and-forth but I don’t have any solution on what to change for this part of the book. I also found it hard to root for a character, I’m not supposed to hate main character is most of the time but I think I just felt like this character was there. Perhaps more background story? The narration was very good at times but then with other characters it was a little less good. It was worth the credit but just expected and wanted so much more.

Apocalyptic Thriller?? Where?

If you had the ability to swing like Spider-Man, you wouldn’t take the subway. That’s exactly what this book does. You get 2 standout moments and the rest just drags!
