Publisher's summary

A siren for a mother, a warlock for a father, and a coven that wants her dead.

Snatched off the street and drugged, Syrinada wakes strapped to a bed with a predator in the next room. At that moment, a side of herself she never knew existed emerges. While relieved to be free, she finds herself plagued by questions she can’t answer.

When Malachi—a longtime friend—witnesses her tapping into this unknown power, he steps in to help. Soon she realizes he knows far more about her heritage than he lets on.

After diving into secrets of the past, mounting truths of fin and scales challenge everything Syrinada thought she knew. Despite Malachi’s warning to stay hidden, the call of her newfound heritage is a strong one.

Can Syrinada deny her swelling urges? Or will the ravenous darkness closing in consume her?

Triangle of love

In this first book the lead character is reckless with no regards to anyone's feelings but her own. The 2 brothers are trying to hold back one more than the other. Malcolm is not his brother's keeper.

Great story and narrator!

My first book by this author and I’m glad I found her, this series is cool! Like there’s every kind of character in here or mentioned at the least and yet it didn’t feel jumbled. Sy got on my nerves a few times with her attitude but she’s young and well…is dealing with a lot. I like when a book makes me have emotions, it gets me invested. Onto book 2!

Sirenata’s journey

First, I want to say thank you Jessica Cage, for writing this book. It’s so far it’s a good beginning to a series. I will be reading the next three books in this series as I have enjoyed learning about Sias, becoming Demetrius and Malachi brotherhood.. and the journey that is unfolding before our eyes.
